CULTURE LAMBAYEQUE, PÉROU, 700- 900 AP. J.-C., Alliage argent et cuivre, quelques traces d'oxydation, Ses grands yeux en forme d'amande, relevée aux extrémités externes, sont caractéristiques de l'art Lambayeque., Ils sont cernés par une large ligne réalisée en repoussée sur la feuille de métal. Ce même procédé a été utilisé pour signifier la petite bouche, les sourcils, les plis sinusoïdaux et la délimitation entre le visage et les oreilles. Le nez est en fort relief. Des boucles d'oreilles circulaires le parent. Elles étaient complétées à l'origine avec des pendants en métal dont on voit encore les trous de suspension sur l'ensemble de la surface. Les pendants en coquillages sont d'époque précolombienne mais ont été ajoutés postérieurement., L'iconographie reprend la typologie classique de ces masques dont la richesse correspondait au rang social du défunt., Les artistes lambayeques ont excellé dans l'art de l'orfèvrerie : laminage, repoussé, découpe et ciselure, sans compter un art de l'alliage parfaitement maîtrisé. Dóra Maurer studierte von 1955-1961 an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Budapest und ist Gründungsmitglied der ungarischen Künstlervereinigung "Open Structure Art Society" (OSAS). In den Serien der "Hidden Structures" visualisiert sich eines der Hauptthemen Maurers: mathematische und systemische Strukturen. Erst in der Serie wird durch Variation der Faltungen und geometrischen Strukturen, insbesondere deren Verschiebung (displacement), ein Prozess sichtbar gemacht. Kraftvolle blaue bildnerische Komposition, welche durch die Einfügung eines Reigens geknickter Blätter, von Schattenrissfiguren und eines Vogels gleichermaßen an Elemente der Street Art erinnert. - Adamski (geboren 1947 in Niedersachsen, lebt in Berlin) begründete 1979 zusammen mit Peter Bömmels, Walter Dahn, Georg Dokoupil, Gerard Kever und Gerd Naschberger die Gruppe "Mülheimer Freiheit" mit ihrem Domizil in Köln-Mülheim. Die Gruppe fand rasch überregional Anerkennung. Vergleichbare Gruppen entstanden in Berlin (Rainer Fetting, Helmut Middendorf, Salomé, Bernd Zimmer) und Hamburg (Albert und Markus Oehlen, Martin Kippenberger, Bettina Semmer). Mit unbekümmerter Malfreude wandten sich die "Jungen Wilden" gegen die damals vorherrschende konzeptionelle und minimalistische Kunst, ließen sich von der Musikszene inspirieren und erhoben die Stillosigkeit, die Verneinung von Dogmen und Theorien zum neuen Kunstprinzip. Powerful blue pictorial composition, which is equally reminiscent of elements of street art through the insertion of a bunch of bent leaves, shadow crack figures and a bird. - Adamski (born 1947 in Lower Saxony, lives in Berlin) founded the group "Mülheimer Freiheit" in 1979 together with Peter Bömmels, Walter Dahn, Georg Dokoupil, Gerard Kever and Gerd Naschberger with its domicile in Cologne-Mülheim. The group quickly gained national recognition. Comparable groups emerged in Berlin (Rainer Fetting, Helmut Middendorf, Salomé, Bernd Zimmer) and Hamburg (Albert and Markus Oehlen, Martin Kippenberger, Bettina Semmer). With a carefree joy of painting, the "Junge Wilden" turned against the conceptual and minimalist art prevailing at the time, drew inspiration from the music scene, and elevated stillness, the negation of dogmas and theories, to a new artistic principle.

Seit 2004 gehört zu den wichtigen Protagonisten der Lissabonner Visual Street Performance Szene. Seine Beiträge auf dem von Banksy kuratiertem Cans-Festival in London 2008 sorgten für Aufsehen. Vhils was born in Lisbon and grew up in the industrial suburb of Seixal. Since 2004 he has been one of the important protagonists of Lisbon's visual street performance scene. Studierte in Düsseldorf bei Carli Sohn-Rethel u. bis 1933 in Paris bei Othon Friesz und André Lhote, im zweiten WK nach dem Krieg war er als Korrektor der Düsseldorfer Kunstakademie Werner Heuser tätig, zu seinen Schülern gehörten u.a. Karl Heinz Krauskopf und Helmut Seegers. Gouache on painting cardboard. Signed and dated.
