ROSE/ROSA BARON (XX East London School) 'The Flower Seller' - circa mid 1930's oil on canvas. Framed and glazed. Image size 42cm x 38cm. Rose Baron was an artist living and working around Mile End in the first half of the 20th Century. She showed three oils 'of Jewish interest' at the East End Academy exhibition at the Whitechapel Art Gallery in 1933 and exhibited regularly with the Ben Uri Art Gallery in the period 1935-1948. She was a member of the Ben Uri Arts Society and her works remains in their permanent collection.

A stunning, original US pressing of Jazz Way Out by Wilbur Harden, backed up by other jazz legends John Coltrane, Curtis Fuller, Tommy Flanagan, Ali Jackson & Art Taylor (MG 12131, 1958 US pressing on Savoy. Red/ silver text deep-groove labels are in bright, clean shape. Some minor spindle wear around the centre holes. MG-12131-A X20 (etched) RVG (stamped)/ B X20 (etched) RVG (stamped) matrix. Record is glossy VG+, each side has some hairline/ light surface marks, but nothing feelable. The sleeve with 'Newark New Jersey' address on the rear is in strong VG condition. Covers are bright and clean with a small split in the middle of the bottom edge where the record has pushed through.
