[British Museum], 58mm high, sold with metal display standThe British Museum website (https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/term/BIOG191526) states: Cottee Arthur Burland joined the Department of Ethnography at the British Museum in 1925, working there for 40 years. Served in the Royal Air Force. In 1950 he became honorary curator for the Abbey Art Centre Museum in Hertfordshire. His work was mainly in Latin American pre-Hispanic cultures. He was awarded the Imago Mundi Award in 1965.
