DS, RESTRICTED spray paint on card album cover, signed31cm x 31cmDavid Schmidt aka ‘DS’ is a US national, UK-bred urban artist, striving to create visually attractive, mentally engaging art all wrapped up in rich colour and form. The first stencils he painted on the streets were in East London in 2002, an area heavily bombarded by some of the now ‘greats’ of the street art world. The stencils were crude black and white robots, but the art medium struck a note with him as a teenager. As far back as he can remember, his love for art was big enough to tame his hyperactive mind, with laser-like focus on a paper, creating a world of minute detailed figures. Consequently a move into a medium using the tool normally suited to a surgeon seemed a natural fit. Inspired and bitten by the street art bug, it wasn’t long before he finished his art education and started to focus on stencil art. Instagram: ds_art

RIPPER (SAMUEL STEFAN), WITH LOVE acrylic and spray paint on card album cover, signed31cm x 31cmThe Rippers work fuses ideas ripped from the graffiti tagged streets of London and iconic imagery with Popular Art to create fresh new pieces that are already picking up a cult following. His bold style lives right on the edge and shows the bravery more accustomed to his white knuckle day job. The Rippers style is derived from understanding what looks good and taking chances to merge differing styles where others may not dare. His mantra of ‘To be the best you’ve got to learn from the best... or ‘rip’ their best ideas from them!’ has certainly paid off so far. 10 years on from completing his first piece of very distinctive urban art in his dingy student digs ‘The Ripper’s’ work hangs over the fireplaces of DJs and the trophy cabinets of premiership footballers. Some may call it luck but fortune favours the brave! Instagram: ripper_art
CHRISTIAN HIADZI, SURVIVAL laser print on 250gsm recycled paper attached to card album cover, unique hand finish with acrylic, signed31cm x 31cmChristian Hiadzi’s arresting figurative works explore emotional tension between representational portraiture and the beauty of unsettling abstract portraiture caught within the ordinary. Christian Hiadzi is a Ghanaian-British self thought artist, born in Ghana where he spent part of his formative years before moving to London, England where he lives and work. He has been making art since the age of 8, and as a professionally trained architect, he sees a strong interrelationship between both practices. Art and architecture to him, are the yin and yang that helps him to keep a balance life. At the core of his practice is the passion and drive to create work that in itself, becomes a catalyst to challenge and enhance the viewer’s imagination. He considers himself the conveyor, the vehicle through which the imagination of the viewer is pushed beyond the obvious. His emotions are expressed through his work, and he sees himself in every work that he creates. What is a painting, if it cannot move you emotionally or challenge your imagination, he asks. GEORG WACHBERG, THINK IT ink on card album cover31cm x 31cmTo Georg Wachberg art is the final frontier, the place where our human nature expresses itself in the most free, exciting and ever changing way. When AI will be producing almost all content in our media absorbed world, there still be be a group of people challenging the status quo, pushing the envelope and find new ways to comment and make fun of all of that. His second love is spirituality and meditation which definitely shows in his work. Georgs third passion is craft, the act of doing something so often that it becomes muscle memory. The pleasure of moving a brush on a surface, the little sound it makes, the big strokes or small nuances it leaves behind. It's magic. Instagram: gwachberg

RAVI ZUPA, THRILLING 3 colour screenprint, created in 2020, signed28cm x 43cmRavi Zupa considers books the best way to experience art. He has spent decades studying books about the art, mythology, religion, and history of cultures from across geography and time. Entirely self-taught, Zupa looks to works by German Renaissance printmakers, Flemish primitives, abstract expressionists, Japanese woodblock artists, and Mughal painters for inspiration. He also frequently incorporates religious iconography from Europe, Asia, and Pre-Columbian Latin America with revolutionary propaganda from around the world. With a distaste for ironic art or the thoughtless appropriation of culture, he integrates seemingly unrelated images in search of something universal. Zupa does not create any of his art digitally; everything comes from his own hand.

AMANDA STANTON-NELSON, SONGS TO SHAVE TO oil and gesso on card album cover31cm x 31cmAmanda Stanton-Nelson (b. 1996, Nottingham) works primarily in painting, printmaking and essay formats. Her writing tells its narrative through ambiguous half stories and nonsensical poems and her visual works hold an ambiguity that allows the viewer to decide what they think is happening. Her work expresses the outcomes of extensive reflection and is informed both by lived experience and her undergraduate study in Theology and Sociology at The University of Bristol (2020). Speaking about her research, Amanda ‘[feels] indebted to those women who came, felt and translated their experience before [her].’ She recently graduated from the MLitt Fine Art Practice, Print Media Pathway at Glasgow School of Art (2022).Instagram: amandasn.studio
HOLLYHOCK, A-SIDE : PJ HARVEY (FROM THE ALBUM 'DRY') spray paint and lino print on card album cover, signed31cm x 31cm HollyHock is the alias of Mirjam Wagensveld (1975), a printmaker who lives and works in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The 'femme fatale' is often a theme in her work. She mainly makes colorful portraits of women, who often come across as somewhat mysterious; you don't know what they think. Her art is made using different (mixed) techniques: with the stencil technique and with screen printing. Both are completely different techniques and it becomes even more fun when you combine these techniques. She makes her work in small and limited editions. The alias 'HollyHock' is inspired by Alcea rosea, a flower which grows very well in an urban environment: the colorful flowers in urban environments like Rotterdam and Amsterdam are similar to the appearance of colorful streetart in urban environments, and so the alias HollyHock was found. JAKE FRANCIS, GLOSS (2023) digital print on card album cover, edition of 1231cm x 31cmThrough cynicism and belligerent play, Jake Francis embodies the spirit of a snake oil salesman. Begrudging the role of ‘artist’ and it’s institutions, Jake inevitably relies on it’s cliches and tropes to make work and progress through its gilded halls - acutely aware of the hypocrisies associated in the process. By toying with preconceived structures, the artist attempts to reconvene personal, social, and trivial issue with simultaneous wit and intentional ignorance. In analysing the stereotypes of art as ‘freedom’ and artist as ‘misunderstood romantic’, Jake takes his resented roles and responsibilities in petty spite and as practice motivator; an endless barrage of humour through disdain, nihilism, and discomfort. A. CE, UNTITLED 3 acrylic and screenprint on card album cover, signed31cm x 31cmA.CE is a London based artist. He has been active in the UK scene for the last 2 decades. In that time, his instantly recognisable wheat-pasted images, in his bold signature style, have featured prominently across the urban landscape, drawing inspiration in part from Dadaism, Pop art, collage, graffiti and the skate scene of the 80’s and 90’s. A.CE’s work is a raw presentation of nostalgic imagery intuitively selected, blended and remixed with contemporary fragments, resulting in a new narrative with ambiguities and incongruities, humor and messages that reflect the absurdities of popular culture and a media-rich consumer drive society. His art has been featured in a number of notable books and magazines and exhibited in galleries across the world, including London, Paris, Chicago, Tokyo and New York. Instagram: a.celondon
