The board is slightly adrift of the frame on the left hand side and a fairly minimal amount of rubbing and abrasions can now be seen. The lower edge also has a lesser extent of sporadic very minor abrasions from the frame. There are approximately 4 tiny losses to the surface within the sky above the horizon, just left of centre (image to website). Evidence of some underpainting. Light surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Not examined with a UV light. High resolution images of the front and back can be found on the website, with an option to zoom in.
