An Art Deco Royal Cauldon table lamp designed by Edith Gater in the 'Orange Tree' design, circa 1935, impressed '561', otherwise unmarked, height excluding fitting 25cm high, sold together with an orange lamp shade.Notes: Edith Gater (nee Smith) worked alongside some of the most notable designers of the period, including Charlotte Rhead and Molly Hancock.Condition:There is a small crack to one of the upper corners. A pair of Art Deco Shelley vases, of hexagonal form, printed and hand-painted with Kingfishers in Bullrushes, most unusually with a pale lavender ground and lime green interiors, printed marks, pattern number 8662 and shape number 798 in black, 18.2cm high (2)Condition:One vase has some brown discoloration to the interior and the other has a small section of retouched black to the rim. One saucer with a small rim nibble and another with a larger rim chip. One cup has a chip descending onto a crack and another is cracked.
