Single manual harpsichord by Giovanni Battista Boni da Cortona, Cortona, circa 1620, the case of false inner/outer construction, the exterior with later paintwork in shades of light green and creamy-brown divided by a dark brown band, the main portion of the lid interior painted with an extensive rural landscape with a bay in the distance, the keyboard flap painted recently in the style of the main section, the soundboard with a piered parchment rose, the keyboard with arcaded boxwood naturals and ebony accidentals, the partly enharmonic keyboard, compass currently FF, GG, AA, BB then C/E to c3, with broken octave and divided accidentals d♯, g♯, d1♯, g1♯, a1♯, one 8ft register, raised on two trestle stands.Length 6ft. 4⅞in., 195.3cm.; width 2ft. 6¼in., 76.8cm.; case depth 8⅞in. 22.6cm.*Recorded by Donald Boalch in Makers of the Harpsichord and Clavichord, 1440-1840 (3rd edition edited by Charles Mould), pp. 250-251. Referred to and illustrated in A History of the Harpsichord by Edwards L. Kittick, pp. 136-137, 485, note 23, Plate 6-4. B. Boni is courtesy of Dr. Denzil Wraight who is quoted in Boalch in a letter to the owner "the lower moulding identifies the instrument quite conclusively…Thus I have no doubt about the attribution. The moulding referred to is illustrated in silhouette in The Historic Harpsichord, Volume III (editor Howard Schott) in the chapter 'The Identification and Authentication of Italian String Keyboard Instruments' by Denzil Wraight, p. 107. The moulding illustrated is from the Boni harpsichord in the Brussels Musical Instrument Museum.This harpsichord has been the subject of a number of alterations including conversion to a two-manual instrument. Under Mr. Mackenzie's instruction it was returned to what was believed to have been its original specification of a single 8ft. register. Boalch suggest that it had passed through the hands of Franciolini but it does not appear in any of his published catalogues. Other owners recorded by Boalch were Elizabeth Moss, Alec Hodsdon and Michael Thomas. A number of respected restorers have worked on the harpsichord in more recent times

Attributed to Augustus Earle (British, 1793-1838) A study of a native aborigine watercolour 25 x 18½cm (10 x 7in), signed with initials "A.E." Other Notes: A London-born travel artist, Augustus Earle was the son of the American painter, James Earle. Throughout his travels he strove to capture the places "hitherto unvisited by any artist" and sought to illustrate his voyages with a prolific number of watercolours and sketches. In 1818, he set out for the United States and went on to live in Brazil and South America for three years. He embarked for India in 1824, but was famously cast away for eight months when his ship was driven by a storm to the remote island of Tristan da Cunha. Earle also travelled widely throughout Australia and New Zealand, where he distinguished himself by painting studies of the aborigines and portraits of colonial notables. The present work might belong to this group of figural studies of native tribes, which he encountered on his voyages. A little dirty along the margins and in the lower left corner. A tiny foxing spot in the chest area. Laid down. Mounted. Mount dirty.  An attribution to  George Lacy (1816-1878) has been suggested (reference Joan Kerr, the  Dictionary of Australian Artists).

Ferdinando Colloca, aka Fery Colloca, is nowadays curator of the Adrenalina Contemporary Art Festival in Rome; his work was awarded with the silver plate Mondadori in 1992.

Dalí Salvador. Saint-Georges et le Dragon. 1977. Scultura in edizione multipla realizzata in bronzo patinato, cm h 21x19,5x12,3 ca. Esemplare 191/500, numerazione impressa sul bronzo. Opera accompagnata da Certificato di Autenticità con seguenti relazioni e riferimenti: "Come nel caso delle sue altre creazioni, l'opera tridimensionale di Salvador Dalí si inserisce già nella storia dell'arte di questo secolo, accanto alle ricerche dei suoi contemporanei. Gli oggetti surrealisti e di altro genere, le sculture, gli happening, le ambientazioni e i costumi. 'Lo Spazio Dalí', nel suo insieme, è l'elemento che permette al genio di scatenarsi nel plasmare l'immaginario, nella glorificazione del caso, nell'erotizzazione degli oggetti con la messa in libertà degli assemblaggi, corrente d'aria fresca che passa sopra il vecchio 'ready-made', e soprattutto il fascino delle ultime nozioni temporali e degli iperspazi assumendo come modello di sintesi la forma esatta di un cavallo che va dalla terra alla luna" Robert Descharnes. Del Donno Antonio. Vangelo. 1974. Scultura in legno incisa a fuoco, cm 30x58,5x2,5 ca (aperta). Titolata a fronte e siglata a verso: 'Vangelo, ADD' (chiusa)."Inconsueti perchè libro-oggetto (materiale povero: legno); presenze misteriose perchè sanno d'arcano e di remoto, di mistico e monacale (claustrale, medievale); visioni apodittiche perchè oggetti dalla presenza in sé conchiusa e significante, marcati a fuoco con frasi assolute (evangeliche o massime tratte da antichi testi). Vi è un doppio iter nel lavoro di Del Donno; il libro-oggetto e la realizzazione pittorica d'impronta informale, il libro o 'Vangelo' è il prodotto più significante dell'intera opera di Del Donno. Libro di legno consunto, corroso dall'uso e dal tempo, legno scabro... " (i 'Vangeli') trasmettono per intero l'essenzialità della parola che diviene segno. In principio era la Parola, la Parola era vita, citano i Vangeli. Quindi la parola è un segno, diviene fatto, oggetto, e tutti possono leggerlo" (S. Sannipoli).
