Joseph Heintz il Giovane (attribuito a) (Augusta, 1600 - Venezia, 1678) Il Banchetto di Baldassarre olio su tela cm 144x189Il dipinto, ambientato con grande probabilità dentro un palazzo di Venezia, città nella quale il cosidetto pittore de' più pennelli giunse intorno ai venticinque anni ( tra il 1625 ed il 1678 circa) , vuol rappresentare il fastoso banchetto organizzato dal re babilonese Baldassarre, figlio di Nabucodonosor, durante il quale mentre i i suoi dignitari bevevano dai grandi vasi d’oro e dalle suppellettili rubati dal padre al Tempio di Gerusalemme, comparve una mano misteriosa che scrisse accanto ad un candelabro della parete del soffitto tre parole incomprensibili: "Mane, Thecel, Phares". Soltanto il profeta Daniele, indicato nel dipinto con l'aureola accanto al Re, si mostra capace d’interpretarle come presagi della prossima fine del regno e dello stesso Baldassarre. Questa è l’interpretazione delle parole che Daniele dà al Re: "Mane - Dio ha fatto il conto del tuo regno e gli ha posto fine"; "Tèchel, tu sei stato pesato con la bilancia e sei stato trovato mancante"., "Phares, il tuo regno è diviso e dato ai Medi e ai Persiani" (Daniele 5,1-30). Animo artistico dal forte eclettismo, rielaborò gli influssi del padre ( a sua volta influenzato dall'alta epoca olandese di Hans Bock il Vecchio, di Hans Holbein il Giovane ma anche dagli Zuccari manieristi romani) con l'impeto bambocciante delle folle di Callot e la precisione della tradizione incisoria tedesca. Nell'opera presentata in catalogo si apprezzano tutti gli elementi caratteristici di questa grande eredità artistica.  Una fonte di luce dall’alto rischiara l’ambientazione notturna e rende vividi personaggi, suppellettili e stoffe. Il dettagliativisimo non viene sacrificato a benificio del riempimento: la raffigurazione prospettica del fasto della corte babilonese è dipinta invero con grande minuzia di particolari. La fiamma delle torce è resa ancor più vera da veloci tocchi materici che restituiscono impressioni tattili alla tela - di dimensioni paragonabili alla tradizione del telero veneto.

In un cartiglio in basso a sinistra la scritta in caratteri capitali ARPI.NO.Ai lati dell'oggetto si alternano decori fogliati a profili di città.Interno con specchio mistilineo a forma di tendaggio inserito tra due coppie di colonne. Al piano sei scomparti presentano decoro di vasi fioriti, profili di città e tappi rotondi (uno mancante) intessuti a foggia di Rosa dei Venti. Un piccolo coperchio cela un puntaspilli con cassetti interni.Piedini a mezza sfera in legno ebanizzato.Altezza 15 larghezza 34 profondità 25 cm.

Die Anbauteile wie Riegel, Abzug, Sicherung usw. noch fast komplett mit den originalen Anlassfarben versehen. Das Gabelstück mit Aussparung an der Oberseite, da dieses für die Verwendung bei der L.P. 08 vorgesehen war. Im Weiteren befindet sich linksseitig die S.Nr. 9708 sowie auf der Oberseite das Fertigungsjahr 1914 und an der rechten Seite der zeitgenössische Beschuss in Form eines stilisierten Adlers drei militärischen Abnahmen Krone über gotischem Buchstaben. Der Verschluss weist wie üblich den Hersteller, Krone über ERFURT auf dem Mittelgelenk sowie den militärischen Beschuss am Vordergelenk und die letzten zwei Ziffern der Seriennummer an den drei Gelenkteilen, auf. Am Griffstück befindet sich an der Vorderseite die komplette S.Nr. 9708 q. Der Lauf trägt die Kaliberangabe 8,82, die S.Nr. 9708 sowie den zeitgenössischen militärischen Beschuss in Form eines stilisierten Adlers und eine militärische Abnahme sowie "RC" für die Revisionskommission. In der Waffe befindet sich ein sehr gut erhaltenes, so gut wie neuwertiges, gefalztes Magazin mit Holzboden und der S.Nr. 484 a. Die Pistole weist an den üblichen Stellen und Kleinteilen die S.Nr. und ggf. diverse Abnahmen auf. Waffe befindet sich in schöner nachträglich geschwärzter zeitgenössischer 08 Pistolentasche deren Rückenteil aus einer Revoler M 83 Tasche stammt. Der Deckel der Tasche weist innseitig eine Herstellerangaben auf, sowie nachstehende zwei Truppenstempel auf: J.R.118 und R.J.R.118. Erlaubnispflichtige Schußwaffe. Also on the left side is the serial no. 9708 as well as the year of manufacture 1914 on the top and on the right side the contemporary proof mark in the form of a stylized eagle with three military acceptance marks crown above a Gothic letter.As usual, the slide bears the maker's mark, the crown above ERFURT on the middle joint as well as the military proof mark on the front joint and the last two digits of the serial number on the three joint parts.The complete serial no. 9708 q can be found on the front of the grip frame.The barrel bears the calibre designation 8.82, the serial no. 9708 as well as the contemporary military proof mark in the form of a stylized eagle and a military acceptance mark as well as "RC" for the Revision Commission.The weapon contains a very well preserved, as good as new, rebated magazine with wooden base and S.No. 484 a.The pistol shows the serial no. and various acceptance marks in the usual places and on small parts.The weapon is in a beautiful, subsequently blackened contemporary 08 pistol holster whose back part comes from a Revoler M 83 holster. Mauser Oberndorf a.N. 1880 S.Nr.: 1911 Kal.: 10.6 mm Deutsche OrdonnanzÄußerst seltener Revolver M 79 der Gebrüder Mauser in Oberndorf mit preußischer Abnahme in fast neuwertigem Gesamtzustand mit 96% originaler Brünierung. Die Brünierung ist durch das Tragen am Mündungswulst und der Ladeklappe berieben. Vermutlich preußisch abgenommen, da der Revolver für die zum Deutschen Reich gehörende Bundesfeste Ulm bestimmt war. Da diese auf württembergischen Hoheitsgebiet lag wurden die dort stationierten Truppen mit Waffen der Firma Mauser ausgestattet. Die von Mauser gefertigten Revolver M 79 für Bayern tragen den Beschuss GF der Gewehrfabrik AMBERG. Linksseitig am Rahmen die Herstellerbezeichnung Gebr. Mauser & Cie. 1880 Oberndorf im Oval sowie die Jahreszahl 1881 für die Indienststellung und die Seriennummer 1911. Am Rahmen auf Höhe des Laufansatzes die S.Nr. 1911 und der militärische Beschuss für Preußen in Form eines stilisierten Adlers. Seriennummer und Abnahmen usw. wie üblich an den dafür vorgesehenen Stellen. Besonders erwähnenswert in Zusammenhang mit der preußischen Beschussabnahme, am metallenen Griffabschluss neben der Abnahme Krone über A der württembergische Eigentumsstempel "württembergische Königskrone über W". The bluing is rubbed on the muzzle bead and the loading flap due to wear.Presumably Prussian acceptance, as the revolver was intended for the federal fortress of Ulm, which belonged to the German Empire. As this was located on Württemberg territory, the troops stationed there were equipped with weapons made by Mauser. Ab 1908 diente er als Kolonialoffizier in Eritrea und lernte dort Arabisch und Tigrinya, was ihm für seine spätere Karriere in Afrika dienlich sein sollte. 1911 schwebte er nach einem Giftschlangenbiss längere Zeit in Lebensgefahr. Im Jahre 1912 nahm er als Infanterie-Offizier am Italienisch-Türkischen Krieg teil, bei dem Libyen mit seinen beiden Landesteilen Kyrenaika und Tripolitanien von Italien besetzt und als Kolonie Italienisch-Libyen annektiert wurde. Von 1915 an beteiligte er sich wiederum als Infanterieoffizier am Ersten Weltkrieg. Er zeichnete sich an der Isonzo- und später der Piave-Front aus und wurde daraufhin mehrfach befördert. 1918 wurde er mit 36 Jahren zum jüngsten Oberst in der italienischen Armee befördert. Als jüngster Oberst der italienischen Armee im Oktober 1921 nach Libyen gekommen, kam Graziani das Hauptverdienst bei der Eroberung Tripolitaniens und 1929/30 auch bei der Besetzung des Fessan zu. Als Konterguerrilla-Spezialist modernisierte er die Methoden des Wüstenkrieges und setzte nicht nur auf schnell vorstoßende Verbände mit gepanzerten Fahrzeugen, die aus der Luft unterstützt wurden, sondern auch auf ungehemmte Brutalität. Berüchtigt für seine faschistische Prinzipienfestigkeit, machte sich Graziani einen Ruf als "Araberschlächter" und ordnete immer wieder Massenexekutionen an. Nachdem er von Mussolini im Frühjahr 1930 zum Vizegouverneur der Cyrenaika ernannt worden war, machte sich Graziani nach altbewährtem Muster auch an die "Befriedung" des libyschen Landesteils.Von 1935 bis 1936 nahm Graziani am Italienisch-Äthiopischen Krieg teil und befehligte die Verbände, die Abessinien von Italienisch-Somaliland aus angriffen.Nach der Eroberung Harars ernannte ihn Mussolini zum Marschall von Italien und Marchese di Neghelli, 1937 wurde er zum Vizekönig von Äthiopien ernannt. Im November 1939, nach Beginn des Zweiten Weltkriegs, ernannte Mussolini Graziani zum Generalstabschef des Heeres und (nach Luftmarschall Italo Balbos plötzlichem Tod Mitte 1940) auch zum Generalgouverneur in Libyen und damit zum Oberbefehlshaber der italienischen Truppen in Nordafrika. Unter Grazianis Führung griffen von den zehn kaum motorisierten Divisionen der 10. italienischen Armee vier Infanteriedivisionen zusammen mit einer leicht gepanzerten Kampfgruppe Ägypten an und drangen bis Sidi el Barrani vor, wo sie wegen Nachschubprobleme und Wasserknappheit stoppten. Aus politischen Gründen verbot Mussolini bis 1941 die Verlegung der motorisierten und gepanzerten italienischen Divisionen von der Poebene nach Nordafrika, wo sie die einzigen in dieser Region brauchbaren Kräfte gewesen wären. Grazianis langjährige Erfahrung bei der Niederschlagung von Aufständen und bei der Führung von Kolonialkriegen beeinflussten ganz wesentlich seine Operationsführung, wobei er nicht voll erkannte, dass er einen europäischen Krieg in der afrikanischen Wüste nach völlig neuartigen Kriterienzu führen hatte. Der Gegenangriff der britischen Panzerverbände auf die unmotivierten Fußsoldaten Grazianis (? Operation Compass) führte schnell zum Zusammenbruch der 10. Armee und zur Entsendung des Deutschen Afrikakorps unter Erwin Rommel. Auch die wenigen motorisierten und gepanzerten italienischen Verbände wurden endlich nach Nordafrika verlegt. Graziani kam im Februar 1941 nach Italien zurück, wo man ihn auch seines Postens als Chef des Heeresgeneralstabs enthob. Bis zur Verhaftung Mussolinis im Juli 1943 erhielt er kein Kommando mehr.Mussolini übertrug ihm in seiner faschistischen Restrepublik in Norditalien die Leitung des Verteidigungsministeriums und den Oberbefehl seiner Truppen. Dies fachte den Widerstand der Resistenza an; die italienische Gesellschaft war tiefgespalten. Von seinem Hauptquartier aus befehligte er die auf deutscher Seite kämpfenden italienischen Verbände, bis die Alliierten weite Teile Norditaliens besetzt hatten und ein Widerstand kaum noch möglich war. An eineKapitulation dachte er trotz der ausweglosen Situation bis zuletzt nicht, sondern ließ Kriegsunwillige hinrichten.Am 29. April 1945, ein Tag nachdem Mussolini von Partisanen erschossen worden war, ergab sich Graziani in Mailand US-amerikanischen Truppen. Die Ordensdevise ""FÜR BADENS EHRE" der Medaillons in Goldmalerei. Der badische Greif des Vorderseitenmedaillons separat in Silber aufgelegt. Die Chiffre des Ordensstifters Großherzog Carl Friedrich "CF" im Reversmedaillons separat in Gold aufgelegt. Die Krone in besonders gewölbter Ausführung und fein ziseliert. Im Bandring französische Goldpunze (Hahnenkopf 1809 - 1819). Wunderschön gearbeitetes Exemplar des Ordenskreuzes in feinster Qualität aus der Zeit der Napoleonischen Feldzüge, bei denen die Badener zunächst als verbündeter Rheinbundstaat an der Seite Kaiser Napoleons kämpften und ab 1813 in den Befreiungskriegen gegen Frankreich ins Feld zogen. Graf Klenau bezeichnet diesen Typ in seinem Ordensbuch als "Karlsruher Fertigung", eine Hypothese die sich angesichts der französischen Punzierung dieses Stückes klar widerlegen läßt. Es verhält sich vielmehr genau andersherum. Die bei Klenau als Pariser Fertigungen klassifizierten Stücke sind tatsächlich die in Karlsruhe hergestellten Originale. Dafür spricht vor allem auch, daß dieser Fertigungstypus in allen drei Klassen des Ordens nachweisbar sind. Französische Anfertigungen kommen aufgrund der Bündnissituation bei Orden verschiedener Rheinbundstaaten gelegentlich vor und sind mit Sicherheit als hochinteressante und besonders seltene Belegstücke der politischen Gegebenheiten dieser Zeit zu betrachten. Da die französischen Träger aber ursprünglich reguläre Dekorationen erhielten, kam es sicherlich nur in seltenen Einzelfällen, beispielsweise bei Verlust des verliehenen Exemplars dazu, daß Exemplare auf private Kosten bei Pariser Juwelieren geordert wurden. Umso interessanter und faszinierender ist das hier angebotene Exemplar französischer Fertigung, dokumentiert es doch die Waffenbrüderschaft zwischen Frankreich und Baden im Rahmen des Rheinbundes, die durch die Heirat der Adoptivtochter Kaiser Napoleons, Stephanie de Beauharnais, mit dem badischen Thronerben Karl (Großherzog 1811-1818) besiegelt wurde. Dieses Exemplar ist bei Klingbeil / Thies, Orden 1700 - 2000, Band I, Kirchheim / Teck 2008, S. 42 f, Nr. 99, abgebildet und beschrieben. Minimale kleinere Chips und Tragespuren, angesichts des Alters für einen militärischen Tapferkeitsorden jedoch in hervorragender Erhaltung. Orden & Ehrenzeichen Deutschland - Hessen Kassel : Orden vom Goldenen Löwen: Miniatur des Ritterkreuzes mit Schwertern.Gold und Emaille, ohne Band. Wunderschön gearbeitete Miniatur des Modells 1818 - 1851, bei dem der Orden in vier Klassen eingeteilt war. Die Schwertgriffe sowie der schreitende kurhessische Löwe des Medaillons und die rückseitige Chiffre fein ziseliert. Das rote Emaille der Kreuzarme in gewölbter Ausführung. Der Orden vom Goldenen Löwen wurde nur in wenigen Fällen mit Schwertern verliehen. Das Komturkreuz gelangte nur ein einziges mal (1850), das Ritterkreuz in den Jahren 1849/1850 insgesamt nur 14 mal zur Verleihung. Obgleich nur eine Miniatur, kommt diesem Stück doch eine herausragende ordenskundliche Bedeutung zu, da es meines Wissens das einzige bekannte Belegstück einer Schwerterdekoration des Ordens vom Goldenen Löwen darstellt.
