A 19th century mahogany and brass-mounted mantel clock, the dome topped case with brass pineapple finials and female mask and foliate caryatids, having carrying handles to the side, on brass bracket feet, the arched painted Roman dial with subsidiary strike/silent and date dials, indistinctly signed, the backplate engraved with scrolling foliage, the twin fusee movement with bell strike, 41.5cm. high.
An early 18th century walnut and burr walnut-veneered bureau, crossbanded and feather-banded throughout, the sloping flap enclosing a stepped interior with central cupboard, pilaster and other small drawers, the frieze with concealed drawer above four further drawers and on shaped bracket feet, 103cm. high x 91cm. wide, some restoration, lacking four small interior drawers.

Moginie, Pimlico, 1704', the inner case stamped 'IG 764' along with the hallmark for silver, London 1812, diameter 54 mm. * Samuel Moginie is recorded as a clock and watchmaker who succeeded Ralph Glover at 1, Prince Row, Pimlico, London in the early part of the 19th century. He is known to have still been working in 1842 and a regulator & bracket clock by him are illustrated in Cescinsky & Webster's 'English Domestic Clocks' where it is stated that 'his regulator clocks are especially fine in workmanship'.
