A late Victorian mahogany and marquetry fitted wardrobe in the manner of Shapland & Petter, boldly inlaid in the Art Nouveau manner with peacock and trailing leaf and floral ornament, the upper part with moulded cornice and turned spindle back, the hanging compartment enclosed by a single mirror panelled door, small cupboard and open niche, two short and one long drawer to right side, on bracket feet, 47ins wide x 18.5ins deep x 83ins high (evidence of old trade label to interior of door - now removed - lock plate stamped "S.P.").

Williams of Trecastle, the 13ins arched painted dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the arch decorated with a seated figure playing a mandolin and classical arches to spandrels to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in oak and mahogany case with scroll pediment and turned pillars to hood, the trunk door inlaid with stringings and with banded quarter columns, on bracket feet, 87ins high (dial cleaned off and some figures repainted, case split in places and in need of restoration) Note : Evan Williams recorded working as a watchmaker in Trecastle 1840.
