The case is lightly grubby and with general light wear and a little bit of tarnishing. There is a blemish to the front left corner of the bracket and other light marks here and there and some light scratches. The case would benefit from a good clean. The box with light age wear and a couple of slight discoloured patches to the back and a couple of minor marks to the top.

There is no glass fitted into the bezel. The silvered dial with wear and scratches throughout. The gilt brass fixtures with general tarnishing and some scratches. The material lining behind both grilles and the door grille is discoloured, with fraying. The movement inside the clock is heavily dirty and will need a clean. Two cracks to the wood at the top of the case. The letters to the dial are not indented.

The hand is lacking to the lower subsidiary dial. Mechanism grubby throughout. There is a crack to the panel at the bottom of the trunk. The back panel has an old repaired wood plate to the inside. The hinges are not original and the glass to the hood might not be original. The clock may have had an overhaul several years ago. General age wear and some losses and chips here and there. We are unsure if this is a marriage. There is no visible worm damage.

The cigarette box: the lid of this item does close flush, the box has a very slight rock when placed on a flat surface, there are no personalised engravings on this item. Hinge appears to be in good order. The marks are rubbed. There are some light surface scratches, but nothing deep. There are a couple of small dents, one to the lefthand side at the back and one just off center to the bottom edge at the front.
