A Chinese wood brush pot,of cylindrical form on three bracket feet, carved with taotie masks against a key fret diapered ground in low relief between raised bands, a scroll border to the rim and foot, 14.4cm high木雕饕餮纹笔筒Condition report: Tired and worn. Surface scratches. Chips, cracks, and splits throughout. Base possibly reattached. A small section of footrim missing. A section of interior missing showing signs of repair.

A George III mahogany linen press, with a Greek key cornice, enclosed by a pair of wavy panelled doors, with drawers below, flanked by heavy brass carrying handles, on bracket feet134w x 64d x 196h cmCondition report: Overall condition is usable, but it does need some attention. Unrestored as it has been in the same house for many years being used, before arriving at the auction. The left hand door has split at the joints, so the door panel is not secured correctly. Slides have been removed. There are some later additions and repairs to the cornice. One of the feet has broken in half, but we have the piece. Beading is broken around the drawer edges in places with some losses. Handles are complete and match, but no keys. Some losses to the cornice on the top edge at the back. Made from a good quality timber.
An 18th century oak mule chest, with a hinged lid, containing a pair of short drawers below, on bracket feet100w x 47d x 48h cmCondition report: Solid and usable overall, but dirty and unrestored. The iron strapwork has been added, as has a piece of wood and the base at the back. The surfaces are quite heavily marked with water? damage to the centre of the lid. Handle missing. No key, but the locks are in place. Losses to the drawer edges. The wood is dry, dull and dirty. Some evidence of old worm in the base boards.
A George III oak chest on chest, the upper section containing two short over three long drawers, between reeded pilasters, with three long drawers below, on bracket feet115w x 53d x 170h cmCondition report: Overall is solid, complete and usable. Handles are replaced, but are complete and match. Locks are in place but there are no keys. Some loose back boards. Looks to have been polished and cleaned recently. Some losses to drawer edges and surrounds, overall general wear from use/age. Back feet are later. The top lifts off and each part measures 85cm high. Was collected from a local house move.
The Deeside Tramway was a gravity and horse-worked, 2 ft 6 in narrow gauge industrial railway connecting the slate workings on the Dee valley with the main road at Glyndyfrdwy and later the GWR's Ruabon-Dolgellau railway. It was one of the last tramways to use wooden rails covered in iron sheaths, together with, A NER wooden signal blade, white with a black V, metal fixing strap, 29 x 120 cm, together with the axle, stops, lamp bracket, blind and remains of the post. Provence; ex Goxhill on the Hull- Hornsea line (the wooden blade is a modern replacement).
