A George III Welsh oak housekeepers cupboard, with two fielded cupboard doors enclosing shelves above an arrangement of seven drawers on bracket feet, 220cm H x 184cm W x 55cm D Provenance: Clynog Farmhouse, North Wales CONDITION REPORT: Handles and escutcheon are not original, the bracket feet on the base are a lighter colour of oak to the other sections. Some pieces of moulding have been re-attached. Some old worm holes there and there. Some of the plank joints are open. grubby around the latches for the doors. The hinges and lock are not original. Internally painted green which has worn in parts. Age wear patina throughout to the wood, overall appearance ok. PLEASE NOTE: This is a very heavy piece of furniture and will requite two strong persons to remove this from the building. DO NOT send one person / carrier.

An Elliott of London walnut cased musical bracket clock, in the mid-18th century style, retailed by Garrard & Co of London, the figured walnut case with caddy top and lacquered brass carry handle over an arched brass dial, with silvered chapter ring, Garrard retailers badge to matted centre, and with Whittington, Westminster and Winchester chimes dial to the arch, with further chime/silent and slow/fast subsidiary dials, three winding holes for a wire-driven triple fusee musical movement playing eight hammers on eight bells, with further hammer on large bell, the backplate signed Elliott London and numbered 109/250, the case with glazed side panels and rear door, h.39cm (handle down). Footnote: This clock was made for the Crown jewellers Garrard of Regent Street, London, to commemorate the anniversary of the London clockmaker Daniel Quare . The pierced brass carry handles incorporate the initials DQ. In good working order with all functions working.Some tarnishing to carry handle.Case complete and excellent; no splits, losses to woodworm, some fading to back only.With original ‘T’ winding key.An excellent example.

Co. 1871' and crowned 'VR'. Wooden, full stock with brass mounts and iron barrel bracket and ramrod. length 110.5 cm.
dating: 1860 provenance: Austria, Octagonal, 13.9 mm cal. barrel, almost smooth-bore, with round nozzle, the base with stamps, no rear sight, clutch for a bayonet and fore-sight; Wänzel bolt; forward spring lock, dated '860' and with imperial eagle. Wooden stock (defects) with iron mounts, no barrel bracket. No ramrod and hole for it. With socket bayonet (length 71 cm). length 110 cm.
dating: 1853 provenance: Austria, Rifled, two-stage, round and octagonal, 18.1 mm cal. barrel, with fore-sight, foldaway rear sight, slot for a bayonet, base with various stamps. Lock with Augustin system, plate dated '853' and with imperial eagle. Wooden, long stock, brass trigger-guard and butt-plate, iron barrel bracket and ramrod. length 123 cm.
dating: 1886 provenance: Germany, Round, rifled, 11 mm cal. barrel, with octagonal breech, fore-sight and adjustable and foldaway rear sight, remains of finishing. Bolt action, mechanics in working order. Various marking, among which model, crowned 'SPANDAU' and 'FW', date '1887', various German stamps, serial number '84xx'. Wooden, full stock with iron mounts, barrel bracket with slot for a bayonet. Bayonet with scabbard. length 129 cm.
dating: 1878 provenance: England, Short, round, smooth-bore, 10.4 mm cal. barrel, with stamps at the base, adjustable rear sight and fore-sight; bolt marked 'BSA' and with stamps; lock signed 'B.S.A. & M.C. 1878' and crowned 'EIC'; wooden, half stock with brass mounts, butt-plate marked '3SH 458' and with gate. Iron barrel bracket ring. length 94.5 cm.

dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Algeria, Smooth-bore, octagonal, 16 mm cal. barrel, narrowed toward the nozzle, the base with brass rear sight, Liege test-bed stamp and with collection number, fore-sight; tang plated with brass foil, engraved; very rare, iron flintlock, partially covered with brass foil, finely engraved with floral motifs, extremely wide pan and batterie, signed below and probably dated in Arabic. Wooden stock, slightly engraved, with metal inlays, pierced so as the barrel bracket. Iron ramrod. Small parts missing and defects. length 162.5 cm.
dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: England, Smooth-bore, round, 17 mm cal. barrel, with square base, test-bed stamps; lock converted to percussion, marked 'TOWER' and with remains of a crown. Wooden, full stock with brass mounts and iron barrel bracket and ramrod. length 43 cm.
A GOOD LATE VICTORIAN ENGLISH EBONISED BRACKET CLOCK BY BIRCH & GAYDON, LONDON, eight day movement with Westminster chime, the case with bell top pediment having a brass handle above gilt dial with subsidiary 'strike/silent' and 'slow/fast' dials to the arch, maker's name and address on silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and with Rococo spandrels. The stepped case having applied gilt metal mounts, filigree and red silk side panels, all on gilt metal bracket feet, 42.5cms high Condition Report: excellent, appears to be complete without later replacement parts, case structurally sound without signs of splitting or raising, working at time of cataloguing but without guarantee - please view. Door key and winder key with us. Provenance: Cardiff Estateslight paint cracking at the top of each side.
An early 20c German bracket clock by Winterhalder and Hoffmieir in oak case with round top and stepped base and having florally carved front corners and top arch. The sides have pierced oak side frets (one a/f) and the round top silvered dial has Roman numerals and strikes/silent and the pendulum regulation dials. The barrelled spring movement has a Ting Tang strike on two gongs and the clock stands 18.5in tall overall.
A mid 18c eight day longcase clock, the 12in dial brass dial signed Hampson, Wrexham No.807 and having Turks head spandrels, engraved dial centre, ringed winding holes and date and seconds indications. The four pillar movement has ringed and knopped pillars, rack strike and anchor escapement and is contained in an oak case crossbanded with walnut. The hood has a caddy top (loose) and two gilt finials and a band of fretwork above the dial. The hood door has attached columns and the long rectangular trunk door has a walnut crossbanded edge. The base has a rectangular applied panel with crossbanded edges and bracket feet and the clock stands 87in tall overall.
