An enamel inset casket, late 19th/early 20th century, of hexagonal form, the cover painted with three cherubs, the side panels decorated with floral landscapes, with buttoned silk lined interior, on raised bun feet, 9cm high (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:The casket is missing one foot, the supporting bracket for which is slightly bent. The silk lining of the base is stained, worn and frayed. The enamel panels show minor surface wear but no obvious chips, crack or crazing. The mounts around the some panels are slightly distorted and not sitting properly. The gilt finish shows minor wear and fine surface scratching. The cover appears to be slightly distorted and does not sit flat when closed. The interior lining shows some wear and staining.
A PAIR OF VICTORIAN STYLE COPPER AND IRON GAS LANTERNS ON BRACKETS (2)20th CenturyBoth with label for ‘Foster & Pullen’, 163cm high approx (including bracket)Provenance: Apparently reputedly from Oxford University. Condition report: These look to be made for gas with the taps and pipes projecting down from the top interior of the lantern and later wired for electrical use. One has a loose top and damaged cap to the chimney top. the other is missing the cap and a stylised stiff leaf corner mount. The bases and brackets are later painted black. The brackets could be later and originally the lanterns were possibly fitted on to poles. General verdi gris and wear, tear and use commensurate with use and age. Please see extra images. The lanterns could date from the early 20th Century rather than later copies.

A very large Louis XV style faux boulle Bracket Clock, with fixed bracket, the Italian case surmounted by a classical female with oval shield above attractive dial with Roman enamel numerals flanked with caryatid pilasters and mounted with various classical female masks, four flared urns above four recumbent horses below, the German movement by Franz Hermle (F.H.S.) striking on a steel bell, O.R.M. 102cms x 61cms (40" x 24").
