A George III oak dresser base, 1800s, Welsh, the six drawers enclosing a pair of pierced panel doors, on later bracket feet, H 96cm, W 161cm, D 44cmCondition Report: The joints are firm. The top is uneven, has dry patches and a later narrow oak strip to its rear, it once had a rack. See extra image of the top. Old repairs to where the two planks join. The sides are planked. The drawers run OK but some are stickier than others, the lower one in particular. A knob is lacking. Both cupboards have later shelves and the feet are later. The front will wax up to a good colour, the top is more orangey and would benefit from some attention.
A Regency mahogany bowfront chest of drawers, with two short and three long drawers, on splayed bracket feet, H 96cm, W 98cm, D 49cmCondition Report: The surface and colour of the chest if very much as per the images. The chest has been restored in the past and is useable now but could be improved on, should you wish. The top has minor veneer loss to its rear left corner, an old repair which would need revisiting. The top has some scratches which would need colouring out. It formerly had bun handles, its current handles have some age however. The drawers run OK, but some could be improved on.

We would advise attention from a clock restorer.There is no securing screw for the pendulum . The hands are bent.
A George I burr walnut cabinet on chest, feather banded, the cavetto moulded cornice above a pair of arched panelled doors enclosing a later mirror lined interior, with a slide and large brass side handles, the base with five long drawers, on later bracket feet, H 189cm, W 106cm, D 53cm, together with the inner drawer section to the cabinet, now adapted as a low chest, with an arrangement of nine drawers and on bracket feet, H 81cm, W 97cm, D 44cm The owner recalls the interior of the cabinet being adapted to its current form in the 1970s.

A French Restauration mahogany commode, 1820s, with a later white marble top above three flame veneered drawers and an apron drawer, on shaped bracket feet, H 81cm, W 112cm, D 47cmCondition Report: PLEASE NOTE, this chest has a plinth drawer. The marble is marked with signs of use. Overall the piece has old marks, scratches and veneer chips in places. The right side has an old full length split. The flame veneered drawers are dry to their surface and they sit well but not perfectly. The backing to the drawer veneers is softwood and has moved/contracted. The top two drawers run well the lower drawer less so. The top drawer is missing its lock. There is no key.

The cushion top case with single brass handle over a silvered 4 inch chapter ring, embellished with brass spandrels under a subsidiary dial flanked by cornucopia engraved decoration. Enclosing a single train foliate engraved movement. 27cm high. (winding key and case key)Condition Report: The door glass is loose, detached at the back.Replacement pendulum and the pendulum leader is re-soldered.Verge escapement.Various splits to case. Missing finials.Replaced hinges.Ticks when wound.

The Pagoda top with single brass handle over a 6.5 inch dial and two further subsidiary dials, strike/silent and quarters dial, enclosing a two train, chain driven movement with hammer striking on a single bell. 46cm high. (winding key and case key)Condition Report: This clock is mostly in good order, and potentially has had restoration work to it.There are age related splits to the case, around the sound arches, and general wear to the high points.Dial in good condition. verge escapement.Later pendulum/not a bob.Loss of veneers to feet.Chime report work.

The Pagoda top with single brass handle over a 6.5inch silvered chapter ring embellished with gilt brass spandrels, enclosing a single train fusee movement with pull repeat mechanism and two hammers striking on a single bell. 45cm high.Condition Report: There is a crack to the top moulding, potential repair to the top front moulding, deep abrasion to the door moulding, crack to door, other light domestic wear to case.Repeat mechanism works. Main train not tested.Movement probably is not original, images on line. Movement is neither verge or anchor. We would recommend that a restorer look at the movement to assess the cost of any repairs/restoration.No serial number to movement.
