A George III mahogany longcase clock by Foster of Whitehaven, with swans neck pediment with Verre Eglomise glass panels beneath, with arched door enclosing the 13 inch arched painted dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and eight day striking movement, flanked on either side by fluted columns, with long trunk door beneath also flanked by fluted quarter columns and with conforming base raised on bracket feet.
