The four-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 13 inch square cream painted Roman numeral dial with subsidiary seconds dial, arched calendar aperture and signed John Latham, Macclesfield to the ho-ho bird decorated centre, the spandrels painted with floral motifs, the swan-neck pedimented case with line inlaid square section pilasters to hood above shaped-top trunk door flanked by reeded uprights, on geometric banded panel-fronted plinth base with canted angles and ogee bracket feet, 209cm high.
