6 small airship/Zeppelin items. 5 car hood/bonnet ornaments- 2 very streamlined futuristic styled, one a plated example 20cm the other painted in light grey 20cm fixed to a long mounting bracket. Plus a smaller nickel plated example 14.5cm, another of more traditional form ‘MAICO’ 10cm. A barrage balloon style 12cm and a very small example 7cm of a traditional Zeppelin. Brass Electric Light - “WW1 Airship Light”. Small brass electric light, streamlined in shape, mounted by a metal bracket onto a carved wooden stand (18cm x7cm x 12cm high). The large glass convex lens (6cm diameter, 2cm deep) is fixed into a removable brass mounting, giving access to the white-painted interior, complete with electrical fitting and bulb (not tested). The to the rear, the brass body becomes a cone at the tail of which protrudes a stub of cloth covered electric cable. A small plate contains the text “W.W.1. Airship Light”, GC.
