A pair of Victorian bronze figural twin branch candlesticks. Each formed as a figure in 18th century dress wearing a tricorn hat and carrying two sconces aloft. Raised on square spreading bases decorated in relief with masks and stylized foliage and over bracket feet, 21.5cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Probably missing finials under the sconces. One base not sitting square on all four feet. Some wear.
Manner of Robert Lorimer, an Arts & Crafts Whytock & Reid mahogany tallboy. Carved in light relief with stylized foliage, with concealed frieze drawer and raised on bracket feet. Enclosing an ogee shaped top dial having painted seascape behind rocking ships above a silvered engraved Roman and Arabic chapter ring with small subsidiary dials to the corners for Chime/silent and days of the week, matted centre with calendar aperture and mock pendulum. Fronting an eight-day spring driven double fusee movement with five knopped pillars and verge escapement chiming the quarters on a nest of eight bells and the hour on a separate bell 60cm high.
A LATE 19th CENTURY EBONISED EIGHT BELL QUARTER CHIMING BRACKET CLOCK the case with inverted bell top ormolu gallery and four pineapple finials above ormolu mounted glazed arched door, side carrying handles and pierced brass sound frets to sides, the 8" brass arched dial with silvered Roman chapter ring and matted centre having two subsidiary dials to the arch for Chime/Silence and tune selection fronting a substantial eight-day triple fusee movement with full engraved backplate chiming the quarters on eight bells and the hour on a gong 54cm high. Condition In good restored condition, the silvered dial has a patched mock pendulum hole and the movement has been converted from verge to anchor.

The 12" shallow arched brass dial with strike/silent lever to the left-hand side, silvered chapter ring, crown and cherub spandrels, engraved arch and oval silvered name plaque; enclosing a matted centre with ringed winding holes, seconds dial and date aperture. Fronting an 8-day weight driven movement with five finned turned pillars, inner count wheel strike and striking the hours on a bell 244cm high.ConditionIn good condition, been restored in the last 20 years. The clock is in good working condition but would benefit from a clean. The bottom half of the base is later, the backboard has a replaced piece at the base. There is a small piece of moulding which has lifted on the hood.

The side moulding is loose and there is a piece missing from the right-hand side of the central drawer.
