A 19th century French walnut and black/grey veined marble commode chest of drawers being raised on bracket feet supports with central bank of drawers. All having decorative brass handles and key escutcheons. Atop a large flared black and grey veined marble top. The marble to top having had 2 old repairs however solid ( 1 piece), amazingly well restored, smooth to the touch and not immediate to the eye ( see illustrations ) Measures 100cm high x 125cm wide and 556cm deep.

A George III brass cased travelling alarm timepiece by Thomas Mudge and William Dutton, the thirty hour movement with a verge escapement, turned pillars, a bell and a bob pendulum, the hinged outer plate inscribed 'Thos Mudge, Willm Dutton, London', the silvered dials, with Roman and Arabic numerals, with a sanded ground and pierced hands, the case with sliding dust shutters, 13.5cm high, together with a later oak bracket and two weights.

John Miles of Stroud early to mid 19thC 30 hour duration oak longcased clock, the 11 inch brass Roman dial with Arabic minutes engraved with maker's name and simple foliate and geometric design, date aperture, floral and foliate spandrels to corners and steel filigree hands. The case raised on bracket feet, the door with eight point star inlaid decoration, the carved hood with swan neck pediment and finial, columned corners with carved capitols, 229cm tall including finial.
