A fine quality 18thC mahogany bracket clock by John Baker of Hull, with double fusee movement, verge escapement, brass face and engraved back plate with pull repeat mechanism.29cms w x 19cms d x 47cms h (handle down).Condition report: Good cleaned condition. Clock is complete and working. There is a small loss to fretwork. No key to case.

A William & Mary Walnut, Oyster and Marquetry Inlaid Straight Front Chest, late 17th century, the top inlaid with fleur de lys above two short and three long drawers, on later bracket feet, 95cm by 56cm by 79cm CONDITION REPORT: Reasonable colour. Top section with some movement/shrinkage splits (see image). Small sections of crossbanding replaced. End panels with some fading. Drawers are oak lined. Later escutcheons. Some old wormholes which have been filled and polished. Later bracket feet. Some general restoration work throughout including later backboards.
A George III Mahogany Serpentine Fronted Chest, circa 1800, the moulded top above four long graduated drawers and arched apron, on splayed bracket feet (repolished), 109cm by 54cm by 86cm CONDITION REPORT: Recently polished and restored so condition is generally good. The top section with some recent scratches to the back left-hand corner. There is a very fine split on the right-hand corner (old repair?) Otherwise very good cosmetic condition with the exception of a small section of veneer missing on the top dust board. The drawers run freely however the two middle drawers protrude slightly. The drawers are pine lined.
A 19th Century Dutch Mahogany and Marquetry Inlaid Bureau, of bombé shaped form, richly inlaid with foliage and flowers, the fall enclosing a fitted interior of serpentine shaped drawers and a central cupboard door, the base of two short over three long drawers above an arched apron and splay bracket feet, 113cm by 60cm by 105cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition with the exception of some minor colour loss mainly around the end panels (right-hand side). Drawer fronts with some slight fading. The front legs with small repairs, veneer patches, and some natural? shrinkage splits which have been partly filled and polished. The interior also good.
An Early 20th Century Mahogany Double Pedestal Desk, labelled S & H Jewell, 26 Parker Street, London WC2, with inset worn brown leather writing surface above an arrangement of nine drawers, on bracket feet, 151cm by 90cm by 74cm CONDITION REPORT: The desk is split into three (two pedestals and the top). The drawers are open but there is no key. One side with fault above the lock where the drawer has been forced open. Numerous scuffs around the bracket feet. The opposing side with some slight colour loss with a section of moulding missing on the corner. The brown leather top is worn, ink-stained and with some fading. There are some further minor veneer losses throughout.
An Oak Quarter Striking Bracket Clock, circa 1890, caddied pediment with turned wooden finials, sound fret side doors, 6-1/2-inch inch brass dial with a silvered Roman numeral chapter ring, twin barrel movement quarter striking onto two gongs, movement backplate signed DR Patent W&H in Sch, 63cm high, with original carved oak wall bracket, 23cm high CONDITION REPORT: 15.04.21 Case with minor scratches and dents in parts, dial is discoloured in parts, movement is complete, with pendulum, wall bracket looks complete.
A Lantern Form Striking Clock, retailed by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 112 Regent Street, London W, early 20th century, top pierced frets, side and back doors, four posted frame, turned feet, 6-3/4-inch brass dial with a Roman chapter ring signed, scroll engraved dial centre, twin fusee movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a top mounted bell, 39cm high, with associated mahogany wall bracket CONDITION REPORT: 15.04.21 Case surfaces and dial are discoloured and with staining marks in parts, movement needs cleaning, pendulum suspension spring is broken.

A George III Lancashire Oak and Mahogany Crossbanded Mule Chest, the hinged lid above two dummy drawers with five real drawers below, all between quarter column supports, on bracket feet, 156cm by 54cm by 89cm CONDITION REPORT: The hinged lid two plank top with a gap which has been strengthened with later batons on the underside. The lock has been removed from beneath the lid. Brasses are original. Colour is reasonable throughout.
A George II Oak Bureau, 2nd quarter 18th century, the fall enclosing a later fitted interior above four long graduated drawers, on bracket feet, 77cm by 47cm by 106cm CONDITION REPORT: The top section with some general scuffs consistent with age. Section of timber replaced above the lock. A small repair also above the brass escutcheon. Slight colour loss to the left-hand panel. Right-hand panel with some splits and old decay. Further scuffs around the moulding to the base and around the bracket feet. The dust boards scuffed and bruised. Later brasses and minor splits visible on bottom drawer. The interior with later brass hinges. New section of timber replaced along the front edge.
A Late 17th Century Joined Oak Chest, the moulded top above two short drawers with three two-as-one moulded drawers below, on bracket feet, 97cm by 53cm by 95cm CONDITION REPORT: Some variations in colour/fading. The top and end panels with natural? gaps in the boards. Drawers are slightly misshapen at the front. Replaced handles with previous handle marks visible. Small splits to the drawer front on the bottom drawer. General scuffs and faults around the bracket feet consistent with age.

Cupboard doors slightly misshapen at the top. Two previous handle/escutcheon marks. The interior has original sliding trays. The drawer fronts are in generally good condition however the previous handle marks are visible. Otherwise good.

The left-hand side panel with some splits. The right-hand side panel also with some splits. The varnish has gone off and with a very small split visible on the right side of the fall. The interior with split/repair around the hinges and on the flat writing surface below the cupboard door. Section of timber replaced above the lock. Drawer fronts with faults to the cock beading and a large scuff to the bottom-second drawer which has been partly filled. Right-hand panel also split and with a large section of timber patched. Later brasses and escutcheons.
