A George III mahogany glazed cupboard on chest, with dentil cornice above a pair of glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the base fitted with a series of drawers with brass drop handles and carrying handles to either side and all raised on bracket feet. Height 181 cm, width 107 cm, depth 47 cm (see illustration).
A Georgian mahogany bookcase, with detachable dentil cornice above a pair of glazed doors with wooden astragals enclosing adjustable shelves, the low base fitted with three drawers with brass drop handles with oval backplates and raised on bracket feet. Height 212 cm, width 136 cm, depth 38 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The cornice has some minor edge knocks and veneer splits to the frieze but otherwise in good condition, the lancet glazed doors again generally in good condition however the right-hand side door has a few small holes to the upper bar which appear to be worm damage, the interior is worn as expected and the shelves have some edge knocks and scratches etc. The base again has some marks and scratches, scratching to the sides and some replacement stringing, the drawers with appropriate wear, and some minor damages to the cockbeading, the upper bookcase section has several holes drilled for fixing to the base, the base has some loose moulding around the base of the upper section. The base left-hand side corner has some scratching and splitting with evidence of minor veneer lifting, the bracket feet again with scuffing and scratching.
A Queen Anne style walnut bureau, with slope front to fitted interior and with four drawers with brass drop handles and shaped backplates and raised on bracket feet. Height 95 cm, width 72 cm, depth 46 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The bureau appears to dated from the latter half of the 19th century/early part of the 20th century.
A George III oak partners desk, the top inset with gilt tooled red leather, fitted with 9 graduated drawers to front, the reverse fitted with a central cupboard flanked by 8 graduated drawers, all on bracket feet, 77 cm x 158 cm x 94 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This desk overall is in a good condition. There are shrinkage cracks to the side panels on the right hand side and this side, closer to the window, is slightly faded.
A George III gentleman's kneehole dressing chest, with lifting top enclosing fitted interior with mirror, on bracket feet. Height 81 cm, width 102 cm, depth 64 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top is flat and not warped. There are a number of ring and water marks and some damage to the polish. There are minor stress fractures to the timber. The sides of the desk are in good order with no significant issues. There are minor surface scratches and stress marks. All drawers have later handles and there is evidence of the previous handles visible. There are some losses to the cockbeading on most of the drawers and various other old repairs. The bracket feet are original and in good condition. The backboard has been replaced. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A pair of George IV mahogany low open front bookcases, inlaid with ebonised stringing, each fitted two adjustable shelves on splayed bracket feet. 82.5 cm high, 130 cm wide, 32 cm deep (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Please note that these are not actually a pair, they are just similar. They are the same width. The depths are 29 cm and 28.5 cm and the heights are 69 cm and 82.5 cm. They are both different colours and the top in particular have different grains. They are both structurally sound with no loose joints. The top of the slightly larger bookcase has triangular veneer repairs to the rear left and right hand corners. There are also ring marks and scratches to the top surface. The sides are not split and in the main simply a little dirty with minor surface scratches. The front right hand bracket foot has had and old repair to the right hand side. The rear left hand foot has a tip repair. The shelves are all a little marked and scratched but in generally good order. The apron is in good condition. The backboards are original. The second bookcase is in generally good order with fewer ring marks and scratches. The sides are in generally good order with no issues other than dirt. The backboards are original and in good condition. The bracket feet have the usual nibbles and minor scuffs but no significant issues. The shelves are all marked and scratched. The backboards are original and in good condition.
A George III oak chest on chest, with moulded cornice, the upper part with canted front corners, fitted two short and six long drawers on bracket feet. 170 cm high, 105 cm wide, 54 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: The chest on chest is generally in poor condition and has movement to the structure. There appears to be some degree of worm damage. The chests frame appears to be split above the two base drawers and there appears to be some repairs and alterations to the upper stages structure. The base of the upper tier has significant losses, the lower stage again has movement to the structure and has loose joints and missing moulding, splits to the drawer fronts and missing cockbeading throughout with some evidence of repair. The bracket feet again have splits and the right side bracket is a replacement. The sides have age related separation to both. Overall the condition again is generally poor.
A George III mahogany chest of drawers, with moulded edge above a slide and two short and three long graduated drawers with brass drop handles and cockbeading to each drawer front flanked by reeded quarter column corners and raised on ogee moulded bracket feet. Height 90 cm, width 99 cm, depth 57 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This chest of drawers has a split which runs the width of the top towards the back edge at a slight angle. This split has been filled with a thin piece of moulding but there is also an area of cracking to the veneer which runs just along side this repaired split on the right-hand edge approximately 19 cm long. In edition there is slight surface scuffing and wear together with some shrinkage splitting to veneer as one might expect commensurate with age. The brushing slide has minor damage to the baize. Both sides have shrinkage splitting. The quarter columns to sides are in good order. Looking at the front of the chest of drawers there is a veneer patch above the top right small drawer and two patches above the drawer immediately below. This drawer immediately below also has some damage to the cockbeading just above the escutcheon.
A 19th century oak chest of drawers, with moulded edge above two short and three long graduated drawers with brass drop handles and lock escutcheons and raised on ogee moulded bracket feet. Height 93 cm, width 103 cm, depth 53 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chest of drawers is structurally sound. There are numerous old liquid marks and scratches to the top surface. The moulded edge is intact all round. The sides of the chest are not cracked but there are scratches and some filler to holes on the left hand side. The drawer fronts are in generally good order although drawer three has the left hand upright section of cockbeading missing. The handles appear to be original. All drawers with the exception of the first long drawer have the locks in situ. The bracket feet are in good condition all round. The backboards are original. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
A 19th century mahogany chest of two short and three long graduated drawers with wooden knob handles and cockbeading to each drawer front and raised on bracket feet. Height 108 cm, width 114 cm, depth 54 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This chest of drawers has a triangular veneer patch to the right-hand mid top, this may be visible from the photograph. In edition it has a piece of veneer chip missing together with some side concave moulding to the back right corner. The left-hand side of the chest of drawers has a slight vertical shrinkage split which runs the full height of the chest of drawers. Looking at the front there is some loss to the cockbeaded moulding just above the right hand knob of the lowest drawer. There is minor other surface wear together with a ring mark to top, all of which you would expect commensurate with the age of the item.
A 19th century glazed mahogany breakfront bookcase, with moulded cornice with dentil moulding over the string inlaid frieze, the central glazed door with nine glazed panels flanked by further glazed doors with six glass panels, all enclosing the adjustable shelving and raised on shaped bracket feet, 177 cm x 236 cm x 31.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This bookcase is in a good overall condition with no obvious repairs or damage. The glazed doors do bear evidence of replacement putty and possibly later glazing but the glass panels that are present all appear to be old glass as opposed to modern replacements - you can see a good degree of rippling and minor imperfections to the glass panels. All three of the doors are very slightly warped. There is a minor chip to the cornice at the joint between left-hand bookcase section and central bookcase section. There is also minor surface wear and slight chipping to moulding and other minor imperfections commensurate to age.
A George III mahogany banded oak chest of drawers, the moulded top above two short and three long cockbeaded drawers each with brass bail handles and raised on bracket feet, 92 cm x 110 cm x 55 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Joint separation to top with some veneer splitting. Marks and wear to drawer fronts and some minor moulding depletions, the sides with joint separation and edge knocks.
A 19th century mahogany chest of four graduated drawers, each cockbeaded and with oval brass backplates and bail type handles, raised on ogee bracket feet. 94 cm x 120 cm x 61 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some marks to the top, with separation to the top planks. Some losses to the cockbeading , mainly to the second drawer, marks, fading and scratching.
A 19th century figured mahogany press cupboard, with moulded cornice above two panelled doors opening to internal slides, with two short and two long cockbeaded drawers each with turned wooden handle, raised on bracket feet. 217 cm x 132 cm x 63 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The press cupboard has fading throughout. The cornice has marks and scratches and some veneer blistering to the frieze. The two panelled doors also have fading marks and scratches with some edge knocks etc. The door is lacking its locking mechanism and appears to have been adapted at some point. The internal slides appear to be in good condition but do have a central faded stripe to each slide, the base section again with fading throughout and some marks and scratches etc. The cockbeading to the base drawer is lacking at the right side. The bracket feet have scuff marks and scratches. The upper right drawer is also missing the right side cockbeading. Each side has marks and scratches, the left side has some holes drilled, the right side with marks and scratches.
A George III mahogany double corner cupboard the upper stage with two shaped shelves above a double panelled door base with brass H form hinges, raised on shaped bracket feet. 210 cm x 97 cm. CONDITION REPORT: In good condition throughout, the base has been cut to fit the castles skirting board.
A George III figured mahogany press cupboard, having a moulded rectangular top above two fielded panelled doors enclosing slides the lower stage with two short and one long cockbeaded drawer each with pierced brass backplates and bail handles, raised on bracket feet and all between moulded quarter columns. 152 cm x 124 cm x 59 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Some marks and scratches and wear, the right side panelled door with three small holes, minor moulding depletion to right side foot, but overall good condition for age.

CONDITION REPORT: Marks and scratches, fading etc, both chest's with cut out section to the back panel, fading to the drawer fronts and signs of use etc. Height 73.5 cm.
A figured mahogany breakfront bookcase of Georgian style having a central arched crest above triple glazed panelled doors and flanked by further triple glazed doors the base section with central four drawers flanked by fielded panel doors and raised on bracket feet. 272 cm x 225 cm x 48 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition with some minor marks, scratches etc. The base with replacement moulding to right side and left side.
A George III mahogany swing dressing or toilet mirror, the rectangular plate with re-entrant upper corners between tapering square section finial topped supports, the rectangular platform fitted with three drawers and raised on bracket feet. 60 cm x 38 cm x 38.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Marks and scratches throughout. Some warping to the platform top with splitting also, spotting to plate and replacement finials to uprights.
An early Victorian mahogany chest of drawers, the top with moulded edge, fitted with brass ring handles and on bracket feet. 94 cm high x 103 cm wide x 53 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: This chest of drawers has loose moulding to the bottom left hand corner, minor veneer chipping and wear commensurate with age and use.
A George III oak chest of drawers, fitted with two short and three long drawers with later turned handles, on bracket feet. 90 cm high x 104 cm wide x 53 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: This chest of drawers appears to have been adapted since there are two vertical veneer panels to each side of the small drawers. In addition the handles are replacements. There is some splitting to both sides and general staining and marks commensurate with age.
An 18th century oak and mahogany banded dresser base, with quartered and reeded columns, fitted with nine drawers and on ogee bracket feet. 92 cm high x 202 cm wide x 58 cm deep (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This dresser is in good overall condition commensurate with age and use. There is slight veneer chipping and cracking in places and light shrinkage to the panel doors to the top. the handles are later replacements.

A mid 19th century burr walnut bracket clock, Dent, London, No.802The pagoda top above straight pierced fret sides on rectangular moulded base with turned ebonised feet, the circular 5.75", signed and numbered Roman dial, with minute track, strike/silent at XII with original fleur-de-lys hands, the movement with shouldered plates united by five tapering pillars, both plates punched numbered '802' on their lower edges, the anchor escapement with rack strike on a long blued steel circular-section gong with trip hour-repeat cord to the base, the back plate signed and numbered, 30cm high.

A George III mahogany single drawer box, with crossbanded top and drawer front, on bracket feet. 13 cm high x 30 cm wide x 16 cm deep (possibly the base of a toilet mirror). CONDITION REPORT: This little box looks to be the base of a toilet mirror but there are no indications of a mirror upright being in position on the top - there are no holes or patches. There is minor veneer damage and moulding loss in place.
A large late Victorian ebonised three train spring driven bracket clock, with Cambridge and Westminster chimes striking on eight bells and one gong. Height 69 cm, width 45 cm, depth 28 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The movement is fully wound on the right hand facing train. Both other trains wind. The movement is a little dusty but does appear to be ticking away. When the hands are advanced the movement does both chime and strike. We have the pendulum but no key. The silvered brass dial is in good order. The case itself is a little dusty and dirty and there are some minor stress fractures to the ebonised finish particularly around the top arch. All brass work is present. The doors are not warped. The front door is not locked. Both the key and the pendulum are present. All metalwork is present.
A 19th century Black Forest Cuckoo bracket clock, with two train fusee type movement, with carved case and compete with key and pendulum. Height 39 cm, width 25 cm, depth 19 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This clock does not bear a Beha makers mark or indeed any other apparent marks to the back of the movement. The back of the clock case however bears a label for G & P Kuss & Co, Clock and Watchmakers, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. This clock would appear to have the original rear door. The movement winds on the right hand train when viewed from the front. The left hand train does appear to wind, there is no resistance but clearly some attention is required here. We have not had the movement running. We do have the key and pendulum but not the bell. The case is in generally reasonably good order with no significant losses. As we have not had the movement operating we do not know if the bellows work or the cuckoo itself.
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany bracket clock, with silvered dial and three train spring driven movement striking on five gongs, complete with key and pendulum. Height 42 cm, width 28 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on the middle and left hand front facing trains. The right had train is fully wound. When the movement is manually advanced it does appear to strike. We have the key and pendulum. The movement does not appear to be currently ticking. The silvered brass dial is a little tarnished in places but in generally good order. The clock case is also in good condition with no serious issues. There is a minor nibble to the front right hand cornice corner and the odd other surface mark and scuff. The worst affected area is to the right hand and left hand returns to the pediment. There is some veneer loss here at the front right hand corner and half way down the left hand return.
A late 19th century bracket clock, with two train spring driven Winterhalder and Hoffmeier movement striking on two gongs, complete with pendulum. Height 53 cm, width 32.5 cm, depth 23 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains. We have the pendulum. The movement appears to be ticking away. It does strike when advanced. The hour hand is missing. The dial is in reasonable order with some rubbing to the silvering. The case is in generally good condition with no significant issues. It is simply a little dirty and dusty. We do not have either the front door or back door key. The front door is not locked and the lock is present. The rear lock is actually missing.
A Regency mahogany bracket clock, with two train striking movement, twin fusee, dial marked Robert Roskell, Liverpool. Height excluding handle 46 cm, width 32 cm, depth 19 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The arched top has a central square section holding the brass handle, this square section has some cracking to the veneer and is slightly loose within its surround, the right-hand side moulding has a central split and the arch veneer has some splitting also. The circular dial is generally in good condition with some minor losses to the paint and some wear to the makers details, the clock body has a split below the circular dial running along the re-entrant tablet inlay, the base with minor edge knocks etc, the sides fish scale vents have some oxidation throughout, and the left side has some splitting to the veneers as does the right side, the rear door has been re-glazed and has applied repair labels dating to December 03 and July 2016, the movement has some scratches but generally appears in good condition, the rocking mechanism for the dial appears to be missing, there appears to be an additional wooden section to the opposing side, the rear door has some veneer splitting and minor losses but overall the clock is in good condition. The clock has not been running and we are unable to advise whether the clock is operational.
An 18th century walnut bureau bookcase, the top with moulded cornice above a pair of well figured doors opening to shelves, pigeonholes and drawers, the base with slope front to fitted interior with well and with two short and two long actual drawers with moulding below and raised on bracket feet. Height 205 cm, width 104 cm, depth 54 cm. NOTE: The bureau is actually veneered on the top and whilst the top and bottom match extremely well this is a marriage. The bureau could clearly be used as a bureau only (see illustration).
A George III mahogany longcase clock by Robert Manley London, with eight day striking movement, long trunk door and panelled base raised on bracket feet. Height 220 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains and is currently ticking away and striking when advanced. The date wheel is present but currently detached from the movement and requires some attention. The dial has lost all of its silvering but is in generally good order. The hood door has a cracked glass. The trunk door is not warped. We have both the hood and trunk door keys and they do lock. The lock escutcheons are later. The case is in generally good condition with only minor blemishes. There is a stress fracture to the join running vertically on the bottom front panel. The plinth moulding seems to be raised on later short bracket type feet.
A George III Hepplewhite period chest of drawers, with quarter veneered well figured top with boxwood strung and rosewood banded moulded edge above four long graduated drawers with circular handles and backplates with shaped apron beneath and raised on tall splayed bracket feet. Height 85.5 cm, width 89.5 cm, depth 52 cm (see illustration).
