A late George III stained pine chest. Of two short and two long drawers, with turned handles and bracket feet, with a rich mahogany finish, height 75cm, width 89cm, depth 52cm.The finish is generally knocked and marked, the handles are rather chipped. A part of one of the rear feet is detached.The drawers run freely.

Three parts of crystal with silverware, 833/000, with a butter dish with etched decor and a silver knob, ø18x14cm., a biscuit tin with saucer with etched decoration and with a silver knob, ø19x25cm. break in bus. And a cut crystal dish with silver bracket with twisted decor and pearl edge. ø24x18cm. In reasonably good condition.

Crystal dish with a silver bracket with pearl edge, a chocolate dish with silver base and a cream set with a crystal milk jug and sugar bowl on silver base. And various cream, sugar and tea silver spoons. Silver cutlery approx. 210 grams. In good condition.
A GEORGE III 'FIDDLE-BACK' MAHOGANY VENEERED BALLOON-SHAPED TABLE/BRACKET TIMEPIECEUNSIGNED, CIRCA 1800The unusual octagonal four knopped pillar single fusee movement with anchor escapement regulated by long lenticular bob pendulum with an effective length pf approximately 12.5 inches and incorporating stirrup-type regulation adjustment, the backplate with line-scribed border and pendulum holdfast clasp to lower margin, the 8 inch circular slightly convex cream painted Roman numeral dial with pierced steel hands set behind hinged convex glazed cast brass bezel, the arched waisted case with boxwood edging and veneered with a single continuous piece of 'fiddle-back' figured mahogany enveloping the top and sides, the front with flame figured veneer within a box line border and the rear with door matching the shape of the case inset with a circular glazed aperture set within the frame pf the case, on moulded skirt base with brass ball feet.47cm (18ins) high, 28cm (11ins) wide, 18cm (7ins) deep. Provenance:The property of a central London financial institution; acquired prior to 1925 to form part of a collection housed in a purpose-built prestigious Georgian style office building. Condition Report: Movement is in fine clean working condition with no visible evidence of alteration or noticeable replacements. The dial retains original finish with overall light crazing slight rubbing and wear; the centre has two re-touched scratches, the most noticeable is approximately 4cm long. The case is in very good original condition with notable faults limited to some relatively slight shrinkage cracking and movement as well as a few historic bumps, scuffs etc.Timepiece has pendulum, winder but no case key.Condition Report Disclaimer

Paper lining is glued to the interior base of each drawer. The back has been written on.
Walnut cased 8 day longcase clock 18th Century, the break arch 12 inch dial with silvered Roman chapter ring and Arabic five minutes, the matted centre with date aperture, mask and scroll spandrels, the arch signed signed Edward Newton (Fecit), the hood with Corinthian capped plain pilasters over a long door with brass bezel lenticle, standing on bracket feet, 233cm high overall x 41cm wide overall x 22.5cm deep overall, complete with pendulum and two lead weights The seconds hand is missing. No packing under the seatboard. It has not been tested or guaranteed.
