A late 19thC Sheraton revival marquetry inlaid mahogany bureau bookcase, with dentil moulded broken arch pediment, over two astragal glazed doors, the base having a fall flap resting on lopers revealing a fitted interior, over four graduated drawers, oak lined with brass ring handles, profusely inlaid throughout with Neo-Classical swags, ribbons, cornucopia, urns, pedant bell flowers, etc., on bracket feet, 229cm high, 94cm wide, 55cm deep. Provenance: The estate of Miss Pimm of Holly House, Barrowby, Grantham sold by Messrs Goldings in 1990 and bought by the family and held thence by descent.
