A George III mahogany bureau with fall front enclosing central boxwood inlaid cupboard door flanked by sliding compartments, secret drawers, pigeon holes and 8 short drawers, 2 short and 3 long graduating drawers with fluted quarter pilasters, on ogee bracket feet, 117 cm; and a Victorian mahogany associated bookcase top with satinwood and boxwood string inlay, swan neck pediment and cornice over 2 astragal glazed doors, 125 cm. Base 118 x 55cm. 110cm high. Bookcase 122 high, 120 wide, 26 deep not including cornice or pediment. The pediment does not come off separately. the pediment itself needs reattaching. Back is original. handles are Victorian. There are no keys.
A Georgian bracket clock in caddy top walnut case with ornate pineapple finial, ornate ring handles, ebony and brass inlay, on ball feet, white enamel circular dial and single train fusee movement, by Chalker, Eaton Square, height 42 cm.
