A George III Chippendale style mahogany chest on chest, late 18th century, the dentil cornice above a blind fret carved frieze with two short over three long graduated drawers all between blind fret carved canted stiles, the base with three deep drawers, raised on bracket feet, 104cm by 54cm by 182cm Reasonable condition with the exception of previous handle marks visible to drawer fronts, section of timber spliced in above the largest middle drawer above lock, patch repair bottom left hand corner of bottom largest drawer, in panels which are original are variations in colour, some splits/sections of timber missing (see images), some of the blind fret-work has been replaced around the top section and sides, general repairs/strengthening work around bracket feet which original, with key for locks 231116

A 19th Century oak dresser, the canopy top over two shelves upon a base of three drawers and three cupboard doors, the central door enclosing three further drawers, the whole to bracket feet CONDITION REPORTS Some woodworm holes, some modern screws holding the cornice on, various breaks and repairs to the cornice. Splits to the back board and some splits to the shelves, Splits to the top qith repaired corner - see image. Splits to the central section. Various chips, knocks and scratches throughout, split to the foot, damage to the hinge on the central door. Handles have been replaced and various other replaced sections, locks hanging off - all over various general signs of wear and tear and in need of restoration 187 cm tall x 167 cm wide
A walnut and mahogany cross banded chest of two short and three long drawers with ogee bracket feet, the whole in the Georgian taste CONDITION REPORTS 54 cm in depth x 83 cm in width and 91 cm in height. all locks are present, base boards of drawers are wood. There is crazing and crackular to the varnish, some heavy scratches. Areas are faded, some areas have been patched. The apron to the bottom in particular has large splits and there is a section missing although present. Some chips to the veneer and cracks in the moulding. There is some discolouration and fading to the wood and appears to have some watermark-like marks to the chest. See images for further details

Has some knocks and bumps all over but especially to the cornice and general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some water marks where mugs have been placed on top on the shelves, etc. See images for more details.
