A Regency Flame Mahogany Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock. The round painted dial signed Jno. Houghton Birmingham with twin fusee movement striking a bell. The case surmounted by a semi-spherical domed pediment with brass finial and curved inlay above a moulded top. The front inlaid with swags hung from flower heads and curve linear bands with bellflowers and cornucopia ornamenting the canted corners. The sides having gothic arched grills below ring handles on round embossed black plates. Standing 28 ins (72 cms) overall in height on gilt brass ball feet.
An Elegant 19th Century Gilt Girandole in the Style of Hepplewhite. The central ovoid bevelled glass plate framed in a mirrored surround divided by carved rosettes; the two either side issuing pendant reeded chains enriched with carved paterae above three upswept ropetwist terminals bearing candle cups, and flanking a small demilune shelf on a flared acanthus leaf bracket. The tongue & dart moulded broken arch pediment centred by a ribbon bow suspending a gesso work floral garland parted into two and swept up at each side to loop through fine foliated volutes, 52 ins x 31 ins (132 cms x 79 cms).
A Fine 19th Century Inlaid Mahogany Bowfront Linen Press. The upper section having a domed cornice with reeded moulding to the edge and inlaid panels of satinwood banding. The two cupboard doors having fine flame mahogany veneered oval panels in banded borders outlined in stringing with a brass strip to the centre, opening to reveal four linen slides. The chest base with moulded top and three long drawers inlaid with curve linear stringing standing on outswept bracket feet 48 ins (122 cms) wide, 88 ins (224 cms) tall.
A Pair of 18th Century French Standing Corner Cupboards stamped Mondon. The slightly swept serpentine doors veneered in diamond panels of rosewood with herringbone panels to the sides, opening to reveal shaped internal shelves with geometric banding to the door backs. The Breche d'alep marble tops with moulded fronts, standing on bracket feet.
