A late 18th century Dutch ebonised bracket clock with brass finials above arched dial inscribed "1774", above chapter ring set with Roman numerals and verge escapement movement no.55-3-611, raised on brass feet, height 38cm. CONDITION REPORT: Sold with small bob pendulum and winding key. Some old repairs to the case. Dial is very fresh and possibly a replacement. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.

CONDITION REPORT: Sold with pendulum, the dial is badly crazed and cracked throughout with some repainting, the case has had some old repairs. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.

A Regency mahogany and brass inlaid bracket clock, the lancet shaped case centred with a white painted dial set with Roman numerals housing an eight day twin fusee movement flanked by silked brass fish grill sides and raised on brass bun feet, height 44cm. CONDITION REPORT: Sold with pendulum, winding key and door keys. The dial has repainted and is inscribed "Philip Gilbert, London". This is now crazed and requires attention. SOme old repairs to the case and general wear throughout. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.
A George III mahogany chest on chest, the carved broken swan neck pediment above dentil moulded cornice and two short and three long drawers to the upper section, the base with brushing slide above three long graduated drawers raised on bracket feet, handles replaced, width 115cm, included is the receipt from W.M.&L.Lee Antiques in York dated 1960. CONDITION REPORT: Please see additional images for condition. As per the description, the handles have been replaced.

CONDITION REPORT: With keys. No guarantee given as to working or not.
An early to mid 19th century oak bureau with elaborate brass escutcheon, the fall front enclosing fitted interior above four long drawers on ogee bracket feet, width 78cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are several stains and traces of wear to the surface, some scuffs and scratches, also the part of the lock of the lid of the front has been crudely replaced and there is a lock missing from one of the drawers. Height 204cm.
A late 19th century French brass cased fourteen day carriage clock, the white enamel dial set with Roman numerals inscribed "Examd by Lund & Blockley, 42 Pall Mall London", the back plate no.1165, raised on bracket feet and sold with original travelling case, height 13.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a 1.25cm crack to the very lower left of the dial, glass OK. Light tarnishing to the metalwork. Case is in rather poor condition and the clock will not currently fit back into it.
GILLOWS; an early 19th century mahogany chest of small proportions, with four long graduated drawers, brass drop handles and bracket feet, the upper drawer stamped "Gillows", width 80cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top is crossbanded up both sides and has several patches. It has been restored at some stage, there are also some quite deep grooves in the top, there are some flecks of veneer replacements noticeably where the carcass meets at the front, and overall the chest has a waxy restored feel.
A fine mid 19th century mahogany marine barometer by Jones, Gray & Keen, Liverpool, the circular sectioned case with reeded top, lotus leaf carved throat, spiral fluted trunk and carved base to a turned brass cistern cover set with signed ivory dials with Vernier, complete with the brass gimbal and wall mounted bracket, height 94cm. Charles Jones, John Gray, and Robert John Keen worked from 25 & 26 Strand Street, Liverpool, between 1841 and 1845. CONDITION REPORT: The barometer has been professionally and sympathetically restored and in presented in excellent condition.

CONDITION REPORT: The dial has several areas of cracks and losses to the enamel. Also the numerals and particularly the subsidiary dial are rubbed and subsidiary hands are missing.

CONDITION REPORT: The bracket attachment at the back has been resoldered, there is heavy wear to the back plate and wear around the release catch for the front glass. There are two fine hairline cracks around the 7 each running approx 2cm, otherwise dial ok. General wear and tear. Sold with a key. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.

CONDITION REPORT: Sold with pendulum, keys for back and front door and winding key. There is a fine crack to the raised domed mahogany section beneath the brass carrying handle, the dial appears to be restored as it is in such good order. General surface wear to the case. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.
