A Late C18th English oyster veneered collectors cabinet on stand with later bracket feet. A fully fitted interior with fine marquetry inlay of floral and bird detailing. The inlay of ivory, laburnum , walnut, amboyna, ebony and kingswood. With tulipwood and boxwood banding. The top draw with three cartouches above panel doors with fitted interior consisting of a multitude of pine drawers and panels above single draw on later bracket feet. In need of restoration.
An 18th Century Oak Dresser. The plank backed rack having a moulded cornice above three plate shelves. The base housing three fielded drawers to the frieze fitted with brass swing handles on winged back plates with conforming escutcheons. The two fielded panel cupboard doors below flanking an arched centre panel and raised on bracket feet, 76¾ ins (195 cms) in height, 58 ins (147 cms) wide, 19½ ins (50 cms) deep.
An 18th Century Inlaid Oak Chest on Chest. The upper section having a moulded top above two short and three long drawers inlaid with cross-banding and edged in cock-beading with fluted sunken quarter columns either side. The base section housing three further long drawers flanked by chamfered sides and raised on ogee bracket feet, 68 ins (173 cms) high, 38 ins (9 cms) wide, 21 ins (53 cms) deep.
A Fine 18th Century Burr Elm Chiming Bracket Clock with repeater. The 8 inch (20 cm) brass dial with a scrolling silvered cartouche to the centre signed Josiah Stringer Stockport above a calendar aperture surrounded by engraved scrolls of trailing foliage. The silvered chapter ring with ornate fleur-de-lis engraving between the hour and minute numerals. The corners embellished with scrolling shell crested spandrels. The case surmounted by a brass carrying handle, standing on bracket feet 19 ins (48 cms) high, 12¾ ins (32 cms) wide.
A Rare 15th/16th Century Venetian Walnut Pen Box of rectangular form. The sliding lid in a moulded frame. The front enriched with a band of geometric quatrefoil roundels defined against a recessed ground and raised on bracket feet, 5 ins (13 cms) in height, 10½ ins (27 cms) wide, 3 ins (8 cms) deep.
A 16th Century Boarded Oak Coffer. The front board enriched with a pair of roundels chip carved with geometric flower heads and flanking a lockplate to the centre, above shaped spandrels forming bracket feet, 23¾ ins (60 cms) high, 54 ins (137 cms) wide, 16 ins (41 cms) deep. Brass hinges, handles and cladding throughout including padlocks for the doors. 27 5/8'' wide x 29 1/2'' high x 12'' deep

Mahogany Cupboard on Secretaire Chest having moulded cornice over the opposing pair of single raised and fielded panel doors, opening to reveal two adjustable shelves over lower twin rows of eight over two narrow and three wider drawers with original brass knobs, the base having upper fitted Secretaire drawer with eight pigeon holes, central single moulded panel door, miniature cupboard and four drawers, inset cloth writing area, brass hinges and folding supports, over three long drawers. All long drawers having Oak linings, brass swan neck handles, cock beaded edges and pierced, shaped escutcheons, standing on bracket feet. 43 1/2'' wide x 76 1/4'' high x 20 3/8'' deep
A reproduction Walnut finished Georgian style Bureau, having plain top, the half burr veneered fall opening to reveal green leather insert and eight pigeon holes with central small drawer, frieze drawer flanked by manual lopers, over flight of three drawers, all drawers having Oak linings, cock beaded fronts and brass plate handles, standing on bracket feet. 23 3/4'' wide x 39 1/2'' high x 17'' deep
A 19th century inlaid mahogany chest, of four drawers, on bracket feet, 79 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB Generally good, the top has a few scratches as you would expect, and has probably been through the mill in recent years, the top has a couple of knocks to the wood, left hand side slightly split, the handles later, a couple of repair sections to the drawer fronts you will see to top drawer left hand side, second drawer left hand lower corner and right hand lower corner, third drawer top right hand corner. That being said it is actually quite attractive and would probably go in a drawing room as easily as a bedroom.
A chest, crossbanded, with boxwood stringing and oyster cut veneer, having two short and two graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, 96 cm wide See inside front cover colour illustration Condition report Report by RB 95.6 cm wide x 57 cm deep x 81 cm high The tops and sides slightly warped, the top has a small section to the crossbanding missing at the back left hand side, which should be visible in the illustration, with other patch repairs to the top, also with some water staining, handles replacements, left hand side split, bracket feet much later From a local private client who is down-sizing, probably been through the mill many decades ago
A red painted chest, of four long drawers, on bracket feet, 100 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB Pine sides to the drawer lining, although I cannot exactly work out what the drawer fronts are. The client spent quite a lot of time in America and this is a possibility where it originated from.
