A VERY GOOD EARLY 19TH CENTURY PAINTED PAGODA BRACKET CLOCK BY PARR OF LONDON of architectural form, the top with Greek key type decoration, painted with foliage and floral sprigs, the silvered dial with ormolu foliate overlay and three subsidiary dials, supported on acanthus capped feet. 25ins x 12ins.
A pair of painted commodes, in early 19th century Italian style, with rectangular moulded tops, the friezes with squared chains centred with iron studs, the sides and panelled doors with similar studding and centred by iron ring handles with leaf back plates, enclosing shelves, the corners carved with flaming torches, on shaped bracket feet, 105cm high, 140cm wide, 57cm deep. Metalwork recently added.
A silvered and painted side cabinet, in 17th century Italian style, the rectangular moulded top above a pair of panelled doors, each carved with panels of horizontal painted flutes beneath leaf carved arches, the pillars with carved capitals and spandrels, divided by a rectangular leaf carved panel flanked by carved pilasters, the moulded apron on bracket feet with scrolls, 94cm high, 146cm wide, 53cm deep. Provenance: reputedly purchased at auction at Butterfields in the 1990s.

A 19th century oak hanging lantern; the arched panel sliding door and glazed sides enclosing the candle socket 11½ ins x 6½ ins x 6½ ins (29 cms x 16 cms x 16 cms) [3].*
