A George III figured mahogany chest on chest, with moulded and dentil cornice fitted two short and six long graduated drawers on bracket feet. 186 cm high, 100 cm wide, 56 cm deep (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The frieze veneer has some splitting and some small losses. The drawers have splitting to the baseboards. The top drawer of the lower stage has additional strengthening to the interior. The upper stage middle long drawer has some loose cockbeading to the right side, the lower stage sides have some nibbling to the upper edge and some splitting to the side panels as well as the upper stage has splitting to the sides. No evidence of any worm damage. The rear bracket feet have splitting and repairs. The lower stage base rail has some small veneer patches but overall in good condition commensurate with age and use.
