A pair of 20th Century elm spindle back chairs, with hooped backs and solid seats, raised on turned tapering legs united by stretchers; together with a 20th Century mahogany toilet mirror, the arched plate contained within a mahogany frame, enclosed by tapering uprights with acorn finials, above a box base with two short and one long drawer, raised on ogee bracket feet, 66 x 45 x 18.5cms. A Tudric pewter, enamel and glass claret jug, for Liberty designed by Archibald Knox, the Powell & Sons glass of globular squat shape supporting a tapered neck with pewter bracket and loop handle and hinged dome lid decorated with seed pod and whiplash design with blue and green enamel roundels, marked to side of pewter 0310, and registered design mark RD425680, 21cm high The glass is slightly scratched in places^ pewter slightly marked in places^ lid fits correctly to collar^ hinge in good order^ slightly misshapen hinge but it works^ enamel roundels no major chips or scratches^ very minor fritting^ otherwise good condition

Barraud & Lund, Cornhill, London. A Victorian gothic cased oak eight day bracket clock, with silvered dial numbered 1872 and unsigned twin fusee movement striking upon two blued steel gongs, width 16in. depth 10in. height 24.75in.CONDITION: Case has been repolished at some point and now has a rather light shiny tone, a section of moulding missing beneath the spire and both columns missing from the left and right sides, dial looks to be in good untouched condition but would benefit from a clean, movement complete with pendulum, further small loss of moulding to the front left corner of the case, fret work side panels in fair order, comes with a case key, metal grille to the back door a little pushed in, lower left corner of the back door broken away and missing, unsigned movement with heavy adjustable pendulum, lacking its locking bar, complete but not tested for timekeeping. A large Regency brass inset mahogany repeating chiming bracket clock, with swept arched case, flanked by Egyptianesque pilasters, painted Roman dial and unsigned twin fusee movement, width 19in. depth 9.5in. height 37.25in.CONDITION: Top finial with a dull finish but looks original, main body of case a little dried out, of even rich mahogany tone but would benefit from a repolish, fine horizontal splits running through either side of the case about level with the four brass pineapple finials, finials are a little wobbly, a section of ebonised moulding missing from the arch above the door to the right side, pilasters a little oxidised, glazed side panels good, two short cracks in the veneers to the lower right side, no key to the front door, dial probably repainted but of some age and now a little dirty with minor scratching particularly around the winding holes, hands look very simple and may well be later, ball feet oxidised, back door lacking key and with a somewhat duller finish on the left side, lock coming loose and in the locked position, main section of missing ebonised moulding inside the case, along with two other small pieces of moulding, movement looks untouched, chiming on eight bells and striking on a separate bell, comes with adjustable pendulum but not in any way signed, looks complete but not tested for timekeeping.
Bailey Chippenham Fecit. A George III walnut cased bracket clock, in plain case with engraved brass dial and twin fusee movement, width 11in. depth 7.75in. height 17in.CONDITION: Overall rather poor condition, case a very dark reddish brown tone with a poor state of polish and numerous small dents, splits and minor losses, bronze top handle has lost its gilding, front door is locked shut with no key present, dial signed at the top and engraved with flowers to the corners and a landscape to the centre, hands look to be later, back door with replacement moulding down the left side and damage to the pierced angles, lock open but no key, movement looks to have been adapted over the years, a conversion to anchor escapement and probably other additional work, signature to the back of the movement looks like a later addition, comes with probably the original pendulum which has a broken steel spring, no winding key present.
Dwerrihouse Carter & Son, Berkeley Square. A George III mahogany cased hour repeating bracket clock, with circular enamelled dial and signed twin fusee movement, width 11.25in. depth 8in. height 14.5in.CONDITION: Case of a good rich mahogany tone, somewhat dull on the top with scattered minor splits, scuffs and dents commensurate with age, top handle slightly bent out of shape, curved wooden section that it is set into a little out of shape from the brass rim that sits beneath it, verdigris and oxidisation spotting on all of the brass work, front door has lock with working key that also works the back door, small section of damage to the ivory escutcheon, fine hairline cracking running left and right of the bezel, door opens to reveal slow / fast adjustment above 12 o'clock, enamelled dial looks good, one or two tiny hairline cracks near 1 o'clock and central, blued steel hands may well be later, fine vertical cracks above each of the side panels, back door has lost its escutcheon and has damage to the left side and near top right corner, movement looks to be in good clean condition but not tested for timekeeping, comes with adjustable pendulum that has lost its retention clip and what looks to be an associated bell, comes with case key and two winding keys.
James Warren Jnr of Canterbury. A George III mahogany bracket clock, with arched case and painted Roman dial, twin fusee movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, W. 12.5in. D. 7in. H.16in.CONDITION: Overall in good restored condition, case of an even tone, one or two fine old cracks showing in the veneers, dial has been repainted and hands restored, working key for the front door, seperate working key for the back door, movement with engraved backplate looks complete and going but not tested for timekeeping, comes with an old possibly original winding key.
An early 18th century style crossbanded walnut bachelors chest, with burr wood inset folding top, two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, W.2ft 4in. D.1ft 2in. H.2ft 4.5in.CONDITION: Overall of a faded mid to light walnut tone which is a little more bleached on the top, the top flap is warped out of shape and shows small dents, scratches and minor cracking commensurate with age, inside the folding top the veneers have lifted a little and have a number of fine cracks running throughout, back boards are vertical pine, lopes have small bronze knob handles, drawers have fairly thick oak lining, original locks, probably later handles and a working key, some lifting of the moulding between the drawers, middle drawer has the escutcheon out of place, drawer linings to the base of the drawers are separating, bracket feet with minor dents and chips commensurate with use, looks to be an old probably 19th century reproduction.
A George II walnut bureau, the fall enclosing pigeon holes and short drawers over two short and three graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, W.3ft 2in. D.1ft 8in. H.3ft 4.5in.CONDITION: Overall of a light honeyed walnut tone, somewhat faded down from its original colour, paler on the top and the fall, darker at the sides and the drawer fronts, overall with light bulging at the top, inward bulging of the slope and slight outer bulging at the left side, and commensurate old splits within the veneers, top has some water ring damage, fall does not close perfectly it has a slight curve from left to right and therefore sticks out at the lock point, no key present but original lock fitted, interior looks original with some mould and ink stain damage, handles are later, drawer locks look original but again no key, feet probably original but worn with losses to the veneers and discolouration, overall an honest bureau but in need of some restoration.
A mid 18th century oak dresser, with boarded three shelf rack, three long drawers and two panelled doors on shaped bracket feet, W.5ft 10in. D.1ft 8in. H.7ft 2in.CONDITION: Rack probably associated with the base and has certainly had later boarding to the back, otherwise in fair but used condition, top of the base with typical scratches wear and dents from use, front with a light golden oak to mid brown tone, original locks but no key, central panel to the front has a horizontal split, fair wear and tear to the feet.
A George III mahogany display cabinet, with blind fret carved swan neck pediment and two astragal glazed doors over two short and one long drawer, on ogee bracket feet, W.4ft 7in. D.1ft 8in. H.8ft 3in.CONDITION: A good-looking piece that is probably adapted from a plainer example. Blind-fret pediment looks later. One small loss of crossbanding to the left door. Key works door lock but no key for drawers. Top and bottom shelves have three slots to adjust the height but middle shelf is fixed. Handles later. Good rich colour and state of polish.
A George III mahogany chest on chest, with fretted swan neck pediment, blind fret carved frieze, three short and three graduated long drawers over three further long drawers, on bracket feet, W.3ft 9in. D.1ft 10in. H.6ft 10in.CONDITION: Good rich red mahognay tone and high state of polish. Repolished fairly recently. Metalwork all later. Fretwork pediment with numerous small old repairs - looks to be an later, probably Edwardian, 'improvement'. Both sides to the upper section have vertical splits. Backboards match. No key. Overall definately 'improved' but a good lokking piece in good condition.

D.1ft 11.5in. H.6ftCONDITION: Overall of good rich light reddish brown mahogany tone in a fair state of polish, unusually handles fix with screws from the front, screws look to be later replacements, escutcheons are pinned from the front and may include some later pins, no key present but locks all look to be original, minor wear around the feet but overall in very good clean condition.
