Two Victorian Gothic giltwood framed painted panels. Each with Gothic arched frame with barley twist columns, each panel painted with a trumpeting angel in the Renaissance style, on gilt ground, 46.5cm high x 19cm wide Condition Report: Both panels are very decorative. The example with the red angel with some noticeable wear and surface scratching to paint and gilding, small glued repair and chipping to one lower giltwood bracket, some losses to around the gitwood arch. Both panels are slightly loose in frame and are taped in at reverse. Both frames appear to be lacking finials to either side of top of frame. The other panel also has some surface wear and scratching and similar losses to the lower brackets and small repairs and losses to the arch, the frame is lacking upper finial.

Condition Report: This is of elegant proportions and is slightly bow fronted, Some chipping and losses to cockbeading at edge of one drawer, and further smaller losses to the moulded edges of drawers, some small areas of resticking to the veneers at top of chest, some small losses to veneers to top and to feet, one drawer with metal bracket repairs to corner at interior, later replacement handles and escutheons, backboards are slightly loose, some typical wear and surface scratching. All drawers are functioning and it is sturdy.

Of breakfront form, strung with ebony and boxwood and with rosewood bands, with central glazed mirror-backed cupboard, flanked by Corinthian columns with gilt-metal capitals and two marquetry cupboards inlaid with neo-classical urns issuing flowers and ribboned swags, enclosing shelving, on plinth base with bracket feet, with key, L167cm x D44cm x H108.5cm Condition Report: Overall of good decorative appearance. With small losses to the veneers at the base of the columns at front and around the feet and plinth base. Small old taped repaired split to one back board, Overall the top has very slight surface wear although appears to be in good order overall.

With hinged plank seat and panelled, back, front and sides, L136cm x D55cm x H107cm Condition Report: Hinged seat detached, with damages to old hinges (hinges are a different shape, one perhaps a later replacement). Evidence of old worm holes - evident to base, back of settle and to back of seat behind top rail, old losses to one arm upright and to the inner edge of one arm and one front foot, some spliting to front panels and one panel with some separation and gap evident. Small split and old hole (perhaps from a knot) at one side. Some newer bracket supports fitted to interior, replacement block to interior rear leg, some probable replacement part to rear leg. Some scratching to back of seat. Some typical wear commensurate with age and use,

A late 18th century oak chest of drawers. With two short over three long drawers, replacement top and beading, the drawers with brass solid plate drop handles, raised on bracket supports, L86cm x D49cm x H89cm. Condition Report: The plank top has a large separation through the middle and is rising up, one small corner of one plank to top replaced and one with short split. There is some typical dark staining and wear to top. One of the back board planks is split with losses and is loose, further wear and small losses at back. Some losses to the moulded edge of top, crack to one moulded side, some separation of moulded cockbeading to front with some scuffing to edge of drawers, later replacement handles and locks, one lock loose and one lacking, the three long drawers have splits to their bases, all drawers open smoothly and are functiong, with one rear leg lackkng bracket shaped cover.
