A figured mahogany longcase clock with moonphase, circa 1830, the four-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12 inch white Arabic numeral break-arch dial with subsidiary seconds dial, arched calendar aperture and signed “Hill, Bristol” to centre, with rose painted spandrels and rolling moonphase to arch, the arched-top case with scallop shell and rosette carved fluted frieze over wavy edge door and fluted Corinthian pilasters to hood, over short flame figured trunk door flanked by quarter columns, on conforming plinth base with bracket feet, 215cm high. Probably William Hill who is recorded in Moore, A J “The Clockmakers of Bristol 1650-1900” as working from St Augustine”s Back 1848-65

Enock, Warwick”, in shallow break-arch pedimented case with turned pilasters to hood over short door and canted angles to trunk, on crossbanded plinth base with splayed bracket feet, 208cm high. William Enock is recorded in Loomes, Brian “Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World Volume 2” as working in Warwick 1827-55
A Queen Anne ebony veneered eight-day basket-top bracket clock with pull quarter repeat, circa 1700, the twin fusee five finned pillar movement with restored verge escapement and pull quarter repeat on three bells with hour strike on a further bell, the symmetrical tulip and foliate engraved backplate signed “Robert Williamson, London” to a scroll borded reserve, the 7 inch square brass dial with rosette engraved centre and scroll decorated calender aperture to the matted centre within an applied Roman numeral silvered chapter ring with sword hilt half hour markers and Arabic five minutes, the angles with applied winged cherub head spandrels and with N/S lever above XII, the case with foliate pierced cherub and scroll decorated repousse basket and hinged carrying handle and later pineapple finials to top over front door with applied repousse mounts, on moulded base, case /with minor faults, movement with restorations, 37cm high excluding handle. Robert Williamson is recorded in Ballie, G H “Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World” as working (near Royal Exchange) 1666-1714

A late 19th century oak cased quarter chiming eight-day bracket clock by Winterhalter & Hoffmeyer, the three-train movement with Rise/Fall regulation and quarter chime on four gongs with hour strike on a further gong, the 8 inch rectangular brass dial with matted centre and applied silvered Roman numeral chapter ring, within a foliate cast spandrel mounted field with Slow/Fast and Chime/Silent subsidiary dials to upper angles, the foliate carved dome-top case with fluted Corinthian pillars to front and pierced frets to sides, on panel carved plinth base with pad feet, 60cm high.
A late George III mahagony tall secretaire chest of drawers, possibly Irish, with ropetwist beading to the cornice and blind fret section above the graduated drawers, the secretaire drawer opening to reveal an arrangement of drawers and an inlaid tambour fronted cupboard above a further two drawers, all with pierced brass and swan neck handles and raised on bracket feet, 175cm high, 86cm wide, 49.5cm deep By family repute this piece came over from the County Cork area of Ireland
