Good Scarce Helmet for the Bodyguard of the Khedive of Egypt c.1870, iron skull retaining nearly all its original khaki painted finish, brass mounts including flights of the arrow-shaped adjustable nasal bar, retaining bracket, applied embossed border and turned over edge of the neck-guard, iron crescent finial fixes to the prominent brass boss surmounting the skull. Height 28.5cms. Good untouched condition. Note: presumably made for the bodyguard of the founder of the Egyptian Khedivate Ismail Pasha, reg. 1867 – 1879
Good Prisoner of War Sewing Box of Casket Form, Early 19th Century, covered with bone plaques engraved with foliage filled with red and green wax (?) including bands of pierced repeated foliage and chain design against a gilt (?) brass foil ground, bracket feet, lid reveals 2 compartments lined with fabric, top of lid with pin cushion top and sprung button catch opens to reveal further lined compartment. Width 24cms, depth 16cms, height 16cms. Good condition.
A WILLIAM IV SILVER TOAST RACK by John, Henry & Charles Lias, London 1832, with seven bars, the loop handle of C-scrolls and sweeping foliage, the rounded rectangular base rim gadrooned, raised on shell-form and C-scroll bracket feet. 12.6cm high, 16.2cm wide, 8.8 troy ouncesMaker's mark slightly rubbed but legible. One hoop detached and the opposing end re-attached. The ends of one other bar appear to have been re-attached also. Slightly misshapen and therefore rocks.

Stand 16.5cm wide, 10.6 troy ouncesThe marks are clear. Crease to the stand. The rim of the bowl is slightly distorted. In fair condition commensurate with age and use.

The General condition is good, there are abrasion marks on the front left-hand side and scuff marks on the right side where the two pieces meet.

Appears in working order, striking, winding and ticking correctly however minutes hand not present and not sold as guaranteed. Case in good order with some wear commensurate with age. The case set with scrolled spandrels, applied scrollwork and case with acanthus leaf detailing. The top surmounted by a large urn finial and the case flanked by large lion mask handles.
