Late 17th century mantel or bracket clock by Henry Bradley in Exchange Alley (London), the unsigned 6.25" silvered and brass dial with matted centre, cherub spandrels and date aperture, the six pillar verge movement with repeating lever in ebonised fruit wood and oak case with gilt basket top, c1700. Height 37cm. Condition report: Dial re-finished, various restorations to case and movement but with original old hinges, newer locks, nice escucheons, basket damaged but it's there.Old restoration mounts are worn and damaged but some pieces present. Dial not signed and possibly later. old oak carcass, base has four holes, old nails on hinges.

A 19thC bracket clock, in a shaped architectural case with fixed swan neck pediment, fitted above a dome 18cm diameter Roman numeric dial flanked by columns with a blind fret floral decoration, on a platform base terminating in scroll feet, hour striking on a bell, with side key, further key, clock key and pendulum, 45cm high. J Bright Saxmundham. A 19thC oak country longcase clock, the shaped cornice surmounted by a brass orb and eagle finial flanked by two further brass finials above an arched trunk door, on stylised bracket feet, with painted 29cm diameter, Roman numeric and Arabic dial with floral spandrels, thirty hour movement with pendulum and weight, 207cm high.
A 19th century mahogany single fusee bracket clock, scroll top, twin gitl brass handles, painted dial with Roman Numerals signed 'Hackler Preston', platform base and stood on four bun feet, height 38.5cm. Condition - generally good, apears to be working correctly (though not sold with any guarantee), dial appears to be re-painted, wear to case including holes to left side, loss/chip to rear door, does not appear to a marriage.
A provincial early 18th century and later oak bureau bookcase of small proportions, the top with six glazed panels, base with fitted interior having sunken well and secret compartments, above four drawers and stood on bracket feet, width 71cm, depth 51cm & height 204cm. Condition - generally very good, various age related wear including old worm holes, scuffs and scratches, various old repairs/alterations including pull out slides and handles, later screws in what appears to be original hinges on drop down front, generally good patina and sturdy, drawers lined in pine, rough sawn back, green stained interior, it is our opinion that the piece was made in the 18th century with some reused wood, hence the grooves in interior and drawer backs, (please note that the buyer should satisfy themselves as to condition and authenticity).
A William IV silver ink stand, Joseph Angell I & John Angell I, London 1832, the shaped stand with central scalloped chamberstick with foliate flying scroll handle and floral urn shaped nozzle, with matching conical snuffer, flanked by foliate mounts holding a cut glass inkwell and quill holder with detachable floral silver rims, the base with foliate and scroll borders and rose and scroll handles, raised on anthemion and foliate bracket feet, 4in. (10.2cm.) high, gross weight 27.4 tr.oz.
A mahogany cased barograph by Short & Mason Ltd, first half 20th century, with bevelled glass panels to lift off cover, the base with drawer and bracket feet, the mechanism with eight aneroid segment chamber within lacquered brass armature operating via a system of pivoted levers, marked "Stormograph", comes with original ink bottle recessed into the case, graph charts, the ivorine plaque reads 'Made for C. Werner & Co Pty Ltd, Melbourne by Short & Mason Ltd', cylinder unmarked, 14½ x 9in. (36.8 x 22.9cm.), 8½in. (21.5cm.) high.

(127.5 x 63.5cm.), 80½in. (204.5cm.) high.
A Victorian ebonised and gilt brass mounted quarter striking bracket clock, by Winterhalder & Hofmeier, the lacquered brass dial with matted centre and silvered Roman chapter ring, gilt metal urn, scroll and lattice mount to arch, the caddy top ebonised case with flame finials, gilt brass swag and caryatid mounts and carrying handles to the sides, raised on gilt brass foliate scroll feet, the eight day twin train movement striking two coils and signed 'D.R. Patent W. & H. Sch.', 17in. (43cm.) high.. * Provenance: Martel Maides Auctions, 5th Dec. 2013, Lot 812. **The clock is in working order and strikes on a single coil gong on the hours and on two gongs on the quarters.. The ebonised case is in good order with all the gilt metal mounts intact. However, there is a small break in the decorative arched spandrel mounted on the face above the dial and which shows the solder joint. A few tiny nicks and retouches to ebonised case. Finial mounting is a little loose.A few holes to silk inside rear door and part of the edge beading inside the door has popped out - an easy fix..
An antique Swiss multi-fuel cast iron wood burning stove, late-19th / early 20th century, blacked and plated finish, of rounded lozenge section with foliate cast decoration, foliate decorative finial (removable for loading), both glass and iron doors, ash pan, raised on pierced bracket feet, 35in. (89cm.) high, 25in. (63.5cm.) wide, glass in door cracked, together with various fittings and the matching fender, 35¼in. (89.5cm.) long.

Irish (Butler family) interest - A George I walnut chest of drawers, the ogee moulded cross banded top over two short and three long graduated and feather banded drawers, with later 18th century style handles and domed, pierced brass escutcheons, original iron locks, oak linings, the centre long drawer with a bas relief carved armorial for the Irish Butler family of County Kilkenny, dated 1579 and related hand written label pasted to inside of drawer, raised on bracket feet, 38½ x 21½in. (97.75 x 54.5cm.), 37in. (94cm.) high, water damage to top, requires restoration.. * The armorial relates to Richard Butler, Third Viscount Mountgarret, who was born in 1578.
