A Victorian silver inkstand, Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield 1848, the shaped oval base supported by four openwork shell and scroll bracket feet with waved rocaille foliate rim, fitted with a central wafer box with detachable taperstick cover flanked by twin baluster hexagonal cut glass inkwells with lobed domed covers, 35cm long 35cm wide by 21cm high. Both bottles chipped and both covers pressed-in and with discolouration. All marks clearly marked. Generally good order. 32oz 13dwt 030113
