The upper box section having a rising lid above four ogee arched & fielded front panels flanked by sunken quarter columns to the sides. The base section fitted with three over two cock-beaded drawers on bracket feet. 46 ins (117 cms) high, 51 ins (130 cms) wide, 20 ins (51 cms) deep.
An 18th Century Oak & Mahogany Cross-banded Bureau. The fall-front folding down on loper supports to reveal a fitted interior with stepped drawers flanking cubby holes and a sliding lid enclosing a stationary well. The two short and two long drawers below edged in cock-beading and standing on low bracket feet. Measuring 39 ins (100 cm) in height, 37½ ins (95 cm) wide and 20 ins (50 cm) deep.
