Early 19th century oak cased eight day longcase clock by Barwise, Cockermouth, arched dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed to dial, date aperture at six, broken swan neck pediment above turned columns, the trunk with reeded pilasters on plinth base with bracket feet, twin train movement striking a gong on the hour, 219cm high, with pendulum and two weightsCondition Report: Missing part of swan neck pediment. Scratches to dial and plate. Split to plinth base. Scratches and knocks to case. Cracks to hood.

Cracks to veneer to fall front. Wear to interior and handle missing to drawer to interior. Losses to veneer.Repaired break to veneer on left side. Broken moulding to right side - detached but present. Knocks and loss of veneer to apron and legs. Damage to cornice. Chip to top right section.
A Victorian brass-cased circular open dial "holosteric" aneroid barometer by Naudet stamped PNHB (Pertuis, Naudet, Hulot & Bourgeois), the base of the dial with the PNHB trademark "holosteric barometer" and the unique serial number 9998. Diam 16cm. Together with a Bourdon & Richards Patent Paris brass-cased circular open-dial "Metallic Barometer" with 1849 and 1851 medal award stamps. Diam. 13 cm. The two barometers presented together suspended on an oak wall-hanging bracket shelf. (2)
