Scratches to dial and plate. Split to plinth base. Scratches and knocks to case. Cracks to hood.

Broken moulding to right side - detached but present. Knocks and loss of veneer to apron and legs. Damage to cornice. Chip to top right section.

A Victorian brass-cased circular open dial "holosteric" aneroid barometer by Naudet stamped PNHB (Pertuis, Naudet, Hulot & Bourgeois), the base of the dial with the PNHB trademark "holosteric barometer" and the unique serial number 9998. Diam 16cm. Together with a Bourdon & Richards Patent Paris brass-cased circular open-dial "Metallic Barometer" with 1849 and 1851 medal award stamps. Diam. 13 cm. The two barometers presented together suspended on an oak wall-hanging bracket shelf. (2)
