A pair of 19th century gilt bronze figural lamps, modelled as classical ladies, each with an extended arm supporting a torch, the naturalistic circular bases inscribed `L Gregoire`, on black marble stepped and mounted bases with shaped bracket feet, 31.5in (80cm) h. (2) Jean Louis Gregoire (1840-1890) French.
A long cased clock by Samuel Whalley, Manchester, 3rd quarter 18c. in a mahogany and boxwood case. The hood centred by an oval shell patera flanked by broken swan neck pediments above a painted fret, the 13 in. arched back plate with silvered dial with Arabic and Roman numerals and ship/moon rolling movement, subsidiary second hand and date aperture with eight day movement. The shaped case with plain mahogany wide cross band flanked by quarter columns. The whole raised on bracket feet, approx. 229 cms. high.
An Edwardian mahogany and inlaid wardrobe, with ebony banding, having flared cornice over plain central frieze flanked by inlaid harebell festoons, two mirrored doors enclosing hanging inturn flanked by bowed panels with gadrooned bases, two base drawers, on bracket feet, 82 1/4" high, 23" deep, 66" wide.
George III Channel Islands mahogany chest on chest, the upper section having a dentil cornice and fitted three short and three long chestnut lined drawers flanked by fluted canted corners, the base fitted four long graduated chestnut lined drawers, all having cast brass ribbon and swag handles, standing on ogee bracket feet. This piece is believed to have been purchased in Jersey during the 1920s by Colonel Robert Malet, the original key bears an ivorine label stating `Estate P.E. Le Huquet`
