A Victorian silver teapot by Martin, Hall & Co, Sheffield 1861, of globe form on domed circular foot, cast floral knop to hinged cover, c-shaped ebonised ebonised handle, elaborately embossed with fruit and scrolling decoration, cartouche to either side engraved with unicorn crest and motto 'bear and forbear', 18.5cm high, weight 20.30ozt Overall condition is good. There is a shallow dent to one side on the crest, and some very minor dents around some of the embossed decoration, but no other major dents, splitting, or repair. General scratching and wear to the body, cover and spout. All decoration is crisp and clear. Maker's mark to the knop is quite worn, but to the inside of cover and base is crisp. The handle is quite loose, as both of the pins holding it in place have come slightly loose. There are a couple of chips to the top of the handle, and a few cracks where the handle meets the silver. The lid is quite wobbly at the hinge, but opens smoothly and closes flush.

A black basalt teapot and cover, early 19th century, of waisted rectangular form, the body with relief moulded panels depicting capronised elephants, the cover with capronised elephant finial, raised on elephant's feet, 14cm high (at fault) with a Wedgwood black basalt vesta and cover, early 20th century, the body with a continuous relief moulded floral motif, the cover with relief moulded classical maidens to the top and striker to the underside, impressed maker's mark to base, 9.5cm long, a Wedgwood Ordinary Lustre bowl, early 20th century, designed by Daisy Makeig Jones, the interior with a gilt outlined Wu Sun barbarian against a pearlescent ground, the exterior with gilt mythical beasts against a mottled blue ground, printed maker's mark and painted pattern number 'Z4829 F' to base, 5.5cm high, and a Barum ware vase dated 1883, 20cm high (at fault) (4)CONDITION:Tea pot - spout has nibbles to the tip, the body has a large hairline crack across the entire base and extending up through the body and through the elephants trunk to one side and a further fine hairline crack through the body. The cover has one chipped corner and one re-glued corner.Vesta box - some very tiny rim nibbles, some internal scratches where the striker has been used.Wedgwood - appears to be in generally good order with some minor surface scratching throughout.Barum vase - large and multiple chips to the rim, extending to hairline cracks in places, crazing throughout to the top rim, nibbles to the foot rim. Crazing throughout and nibbles.
A Victorian Aesthetic Movement Minton majolica teapot and cover in the manner of Dr Christopher Dresser, late 19th century, the yellow ochre glazed teapot of globular form with straight spout, decorated with prunus blossoms modelled in low relief, the basket handle modelled as a bent green twig, the cover with cut twig finial and low relief prunus motif, impressed maker?s mark, indistinct date cypher (probably for 1873), decorator's mark, '610', '12' and painted '2' to base, 19.5cm highCONDITION REPORT:The piece shows fine surface crazing throughout. There is a firing frit to the prunus sprig to the left of the back of the handle, and small nibbles to the interior rim of the cover, but no visible chips, cracks or losses.

A Royal Crown Derby Imari, 2451 pattern tea service, mid 20th century, comprising: a teapot and cover, a milk jug and stand, a sucrier and stand, six tea cups, six saucers, six side plates, six sandwich plates and a serving plate, each piece with printed maker's mark and most with date marks for 1965, with a Royal Crown Derby paperweight modelled as a frog (lacking stopper) (Qty) CONDITION REPORT:All pieces show minor rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout and some fine surface scratches. Most show some very fine surface crazing in some areas and some show more extensive crazing. On one side plate this has developed into a 'V' shaped hairline crack to the base, but otherwise there are no visible chips, cracks or losses. The teapot appears to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, losses or crazing.
