(12.7cm.) high, gross weight 50 tr.oz. (3)
An 18th century Chinese porcelain teapot of spherical form, the main body decorated in the famille rose palette with figures etc. against a background of buildings and trees, 14.5cm high (including knop-finial) CONDITION REPORT: The lid or cover is reasonable order save for a match head size chip away to the outside edge underneath. The teapot appears to be in good original condition with no major problems noted although there is a small firing crack and a very small chip away to the beginning of the spout.
A small collection of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain, late 19th century, comprising a baluster vase with scalloped everted rim and gilt twin beast handles, 12¼in. (31cm.) high; a cylindrical teapot and cover with twin cord handle, 6¼in. (13.5cm.) high plus handle; a plate, 10in. (25.5cm.) diameter; and four other pieces, all decorated with the typical manner with reserves of figures in gardens and butterflies and birds amidst flowering foliage. (7)* Condition: - Tall Vase: A few small chips and flakes of glaze from the underside of the neck rim. - 10 in. Plate: one small chip from the edge - approx. 10mm. long at the widest - Teapot: a minute flake of glaze from the edge of the lid - Bowl: Undamaged - Two 7 ¾ in. plates: one has two minute flakes of glaze from the edge - Small vase: undamaged but domed cover missing
Welsh regimental interest - a large George III silver teapot, Robert Hennell I & Samuel Hennell, London 1807, of oval bombe form, with half-gadrooned decoration and borders, the hinged cover with oval counter finial, reeded scroll handle, on a flared oval foot, the body to both sides with engraved regimental crest with a dragon, possibly Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, 8in. (20.25cm.) high, weight 32.4 tr.oz.* Condition: Marks clear. Both sides have a section of silver let-in with an engraved regimental crest (appears to be 19th century work). Lid sits slightly proud at the front edge. Teapot is bent over slightly to one side on the base. Old soldered repairs to handle around pin just above ivory insulator at top and at base of handle.

(3)* Condition: In good condition with no significant faults, slightly rubbed maker's marks.
