Two hand-painted Oriental part tea sets, comprising a Noritake tea set decorated with floral panels, black and gilt border, comprising milk jug, covered sugar bowl, teapot, two cups, two saucers (7), together with an eggshell tea set decorated with a mountainside scene and matt black border, comprising teapot, covered sugar bowl, covered milk jug, four cups, four saucers, five tea plates and two cake plates (18), wear to gilt on some pieces.
Lot 30
A 1920s-30s Japanese porcelain tea set in the Art Deco taste - in pale grey-blue lustre glaze with decoration of stylised white cranes, comprising an ovoid teapot, covered milk jug and two-handled covered sugar basin, all with twin flower finials, six cups and saucers and six tea plates, iron red printed 'rising sun' factory marks with initials RS, the teapot 19.5cm high. * One of the plates has a star crack to the centre of the base (visible from top and underside). One cup has a small glaze flaw to the rim from manufacture and another has a tiny firing flaw to the side of the the bowl. The plates all have some contact scuffs and light scratches to the blue-grey glaze. The saucers have a little very light contact scuffing to the glaze. There are no other faults.

A collection of Ming Rose pattern tea and dinner ware by Coalport and Foley China - the Coalport pieces comprising 5 x 27.2cm dinner plates; 4 x 19.5cm dessert bowls; 5 x 14.5cm saucers; 2 x 13.6cm saucers; 2 x tea cups; and a boxed cream jug and covered sugar bowl set; the Foley China comprising a teapot; milk jug; cream jug; sugar bowl; 4 x tea cups; 12 x saucers; 12 x tea plates; 6 x 23cm plates; 5 x dessert bowls; a two-handled sandwich plate; a two-handled 23.5cm oval serving dish; and a rectangular 28cm two-handled sandwich plate; together with a collection of Royal Grafton china in a similar pattern, 'Malvern', comprising a boxed cake slice; 12 x tea plates; 12 x tea cups and 12 x saucers.

A good and large collection of Copeland Spode's Italian pattern blue and white transfer printed ware - early to late 20th century, including three graduated punch bowls, 17.5cm, 20cm and 24cm diameter; a coffee pot; a teapot; four graduated jugs, the smallest 7cm high, the largest 13.5cm high; a sauce jug; a biscuit barrel with rattan handle; two sugar bowls; a late 20th century clock with quartz movement, 26cm diameter; a pair of salad bowls, 24cm diameter; a divided preserve and butter dish; various square and oblong serving dishes; plates, bowls; tea and coffee cups and saucers; etc; plus a Shire Books 'Spode' volume, by Robert Copeland. (45) * Condition: Generally in good condition, with no faults with the exception of:- 25cm dinner plate: Extensive glaze scratching- 16.5cm side plate: Tiny glaze chip to rim.- 15cm saucer: Star crack to base.- 24.3cm salad bowls: One with some glaze crazing to exterior. The other with one pinhead size glaze frit to rim.- 21cm square serving bowl: Glaze crazing to base with some browned discolouration- 19cm shallow square serving dish: Some glaze scratching to interior (not unsightly) and glaze wear to edges of base.- 26cm oblong platter: A little glaze scratching to upper surface and edges of base from use.- Coffee can: Glaze crazing.- Two-handled covered soup bowl: Some glaze crazing with browned discolouration to the bowl.

A small collection of vintage china and other items - including a Mintons 1920s-30s part tea set with teapot, cream jug, sugar bowl and two tea cups, with a band of laurel leaf decoration on a shaded blue ground; a set of seven 1960s blue and cream glazed tea cups and saucers by Tams, plus a space saucer and six tea plates; a set of four blue glazed tea cups and six blue and white chequered saucers by Tams, plus six matching tea plates; three vintage tins; etc.
Lot 66
A small collection of Art Deco mid-20th century china - including a Shelley octagonal teapot, two cups and three saucers in the 'Sunrise and Tall Trees' pattern; a Shelley part-tea service in the 'Blue Phlox' pattern, comprising a cream jug, two tea cups, five saucers and six tea plates; a Shelley 'Dainty Blue' pattern sandwich plate; and a six person part tea service by Tuscan China in the 'Plant' pattern, comprising six each of tea cups, saucers and tea plates, plus a cream jug, sugar bowl and sandwich plate.* The teapot has a crack at the base of the handle. The matching saucers has a few small glaze scratches to the centre. The Blue Phlox jug has a hairline to the rim and both Blue Phlox cups have a crack to the base. All of the other pieces are in good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.

Some very minimal glaze fritting and slight wear. Bowl - large U-shaped section broken out, re attached with staples and left honest. Four rim chips.
