A collection of seven Chinese Yixing teapots, to include one formed as a swan, 9cm high, three terracotta coloured examples to include on formed as a pumpkin, 6.5cm high and another as a monkey, 8.5cm high, along with a blue hexagonal teapot with character marks to body, 8cm high and a green teapot with a bamboo moulded semi-circular handle, 10.5cm, all with covers and seal marks to underside (7) PLEASE NOTE- The pewter teapot to the back of the image is NOT included in this lot. It is in lot 527.
A CHINESE YIXING TEAPOT AND COVER, Qing Dynasty, late 17th century, with plain compressed ovoid body, the flat cover with conical cushion finial, the inside cover and base with impressed marks, with gilt chain and wire work mounts, 12cm high x 12cm long. Condition report: Appears to be very good overall condition with no chips or cracks noted, the gilt metal mounts from the rim of the cover are lacking
