A 1930's Art Deco period Adie Brothers silver tea set to include teapot, creamer jug and sugar bowl having faceted sides and raised on footed bases with gadrooned borders. Hallmarked Sheffield 1938. Total weight 847g. Teapot measures 27.5cm wide, sugar bowl measures 16cm wide, jug measures 15cm wide.

All at approximately 48ozs. Teapot 19cm overall height. APHA Ref X89SAXAH General overall condition very good, some minor surface scratching, denting and wear, surface tarnished in places, handle insulators are cracked, top insulator has small piece missing but is not broken through, no evidence of other major damage or repair, underside of bases have been filed at edges. Marks are clear, date letter is for London 1845 not 1865. Photographs of crest and other images will be added to website.
