Marked to base for Staffordshire. Crown Dorset/Staffordshire Fine Ceramics. Part of the Royal Doulton family large "Mad Hatter" collector teapot. it was designed by Howard Wedgwood who is a member of the Wedgwood family. This outstanding item is very highly detailed, beautifully hand painted and highly glazed. In good condition. An outstanding and very rare teapot, just has to be seen first-hand for its great beauty and wonderful attention to detail to be fully appreciated.
