A copper and brass teapot designed by Christopher Dresser for Benham & Froud, unmarked, height 22cm. For similar example see Harry Lyons, Christopher Dresser the People Designer, page 210, plate 411, Antique Collectors Club, 2005. Condition - one foot repaired the other two slightly pushed into body, wear to spout, dings, scratches etc. missing rivet to handle join.
A George III Irish silver teapot, with wooden handle, horn finial, engraved, ball feet, maker's initials 'JD', probably John Daly, Dublin 1808, length 29cm, gross wt. 21oz. Condition - wear to spout, ding to one side, minor play in hinge, matching hallmarks on lid, probably later handle, appears repair free.
A late Victorian Florian ware tea service, designed by William Moorcroft for Macintyre, comprising teapot, cream jug, sugar bowl, five cups and six saucers. Condition - two cups signed others with factory mark, small chip to cream jug spout, chip to one saucer, firing crack to another saucer, minor nibble to foot rim on one cup, no further damage, no signs of restoration, crazing throughout.
Chinese Canton porcelain famille rose design cabaret tea for two set with two cups and saucers, teapot, sucrier and cover, another associated miniature teapot on an indented tray. Unmarked, 19th Century. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Very grubby, tiny teapot has chips to its rim and to the inner rim of its cover. Overall some wear with age.
Chinese terracotta Yixing style melon shaped teapot, unmarked. Together with a pair of oriental porcelain yellow ground baluster shaped vases decorated in enamels with fantastic birds amongst foliage. 18cm high approx. (3) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Small chip to under side of cover of teapot. Otherwise no obvious damage
