A Liverpool porcelain c1770 teapot, possibly by Philip Christian, the spherical body painted in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt-heightened with Chinoiserie island scenes, height 17cm, a Royal Doulton terracotta squat baluster vase commissioned by Dorpar Ltd, Liverpool, commemorating the Liver Bird and the City of Liverpool, with raised Liver Bird applied to the front and text to the back 'The Liver Bird (emblem of Liverpool), a fabled bird believed by some to represent the traditional Eagle of St John the Evangelist, Patron Saint of Liverpool... since 1911', two art-related books, Frank Stack; 'Etchings and Lithographs' with an introduction by Sidney Larson, published by Wind Publications in April 1976, containing selected etchings and lithographs of the people and places that the artist had known, and Frank Brangwyn R.A.; 'Modern Masters of Etching', with numerous illustrations of the artist's work (4). CONDITION REPORT Some age-related wear, some slight fading of the colours, some old rim chips to the top of the teapot. A number of hairline cracks to the interior, which have evidence of old repairs and slightly visible to the exterior.
