A George III Silver Teapot and Stand, Maker's Mark SW, London, 1774, the teapot with fluted sides and a central band, with openwork ivory-insulated handle, the hinged cover with figural finial, the stand conforming and on three ball and claw feet, the teapot 20.5cm wide over handle, the stand 17.5cm diameter, total gross weight 24oz 4dwt, 753gr (2) Condition report: Fully marked under stand and under teapot. The teapot further part marked on cover bezel. There is some wear to the marks, though each is still legible. There are some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points. There is some cracking and discolouration to the ivory insulators and the handle pins are possibly replaced with two protruding slightly from the handle.

There is wear to the marks in many places. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points. There are bruises to each piece but there are most noticeable on the teapot. There are some cracks and discolouration to the ivory insulators.
A George IV Old Sheffield Plate Four-Piece Tea and Coffee-Service, Apparently Unmarked, Circa 1820, each piece melon-fluted and on four anthemion feet, comprising: a coffee-pot; a teapot, each with ivory insulated handles, the hinged covers with melon and foliage finials; a sugar-bowl and a cream-jug, the coffee-pot 19cm high (4) Condition report: There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some bruises to the surface, particularly on the teapot. The copper is showing through in some places. The handle on the teapot and coffee-pot are slightly differing. There is some staining and discolouration to the ivory insulators.
