Gilt a little rubbed, some staining particularly around handle and spout. Side plates (3) - Gilt very rubbed. Saucers (4) - All with rubbed gilt. One has bad star crack to centre, one has faint star crack to centre. Tea cups (6) - Some light rubbing to gilt. One has small chip to foot rim, one has small hair crack from rim. Coffee cups (6) - One badly restored, reglued from two pieces. One has two bad cracks to side.

A George III antique silver three-piece oval tea set: with reeded lower bodies, gadroon edging, scroll and shell-capped angular handles on bun feet, makers mark C.P. for Charles Price, London 1816. The teapot 30cm long, with dent on spout (see photo) clearly hallmarked on the base with fully marked lid and finial, but with replacement ivory insulated handle, makers mark G.R.C. for G.R.Collis and Co, London circa 1840. The two-handled sugar basin clearly hallmarked under the rim, the milk jug with discernible worn marks under the lip, but with handle detached wear it should attach to the base, 1300gms 41.8oz, gross weight.

One tea bowl badly broken and re-stuck, discoloured restoration. Chip to hexagonal-shaped dish, rim chip to largest circular dish, elsewhere slight rim chips and fritting generally to most pieces. Diameter size of largest saucer dish is approximately 20cm

18th century Chinese export armorial teapot and cover, circa 1755, of globular form, painted in enamels with coat of arms of Lancaster impaling Griffin, with gilt chain borders and enamel floral sprigs to lid, 18.5cm. The Lancaster family lived at Crackhouse, Cumberland and Raynhill, Lancashire. The Griffins are from Northamptonshire, Braybrooke in Warwickshire and London - from whom descend Lord Braybrooke. This teapot and tea caddy was sold in The Henry Farnham Burke sale in 1913 for 4½ guineas. Reference Howard Q3, page 545 CONDITION REPORT Crack to handle towards uppermost point which runs round entire handle. Slight losses to spout end. Large frit to glaze on knop. Bright enamels. Some wear to gilding, otherwise original condition

One handle has been repaired and bottom solder joint is broken where it joins body, other handle may have been repaired. Cream - petal-shaped rim distorted, pouring lip bent. Tray - no visible damage, rim slightly distorted

Interesting Tibetan silver teapot of small proportions, with chased and engraved foliate decoration, the spout in the form of a mythical beast swallowing a fish and the handle similar, but with its tongue out, separate domed and fluted cover with foliate finial and secured to the main body by a chain, Bhutan, late 19th century. All at approximately 8ozs, 12cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Surface decoration clear. Some minor distortion to ears, whiskers, etc. Base of handle where it joins body appears to have been repaired but this may have taken place during manufacture. No other signs of major damage or repair
